The only way this will work is if the Dragonballs take a year to reactivate.
Let's not forget about our friend time travel.
Wait, what was that about reproduction?

I'm not sure if this has changed or not as I haven't heard anything about it in a while, but when the game was first announced there was talk about having your character age and eventually die. Before the death of the character you'd have to find someone to have a child with.
Assuming this still happens and that the Namekians didn't suddenly have genders over the last 200 (or thousand? I cant remember) years, Namekians shouldn't need a mate as they are asexual.

I knew about the aging thing (sorta), but the legacy bit is interesting... Hmm.
Here's hoping there's a degree of accessibility, anyway.
(PSST: Thanks Verto!)

But that leaves the question; when your avatar and his or her significant other dies, what happens to the child avatar? Do you both mutually get access to that account? Would the child be an NPC? Or does a third person come on and is in charge of that account?

As I was posting that thought came into my mind, I really don't know. I'm thinking maybe you need to save money and buy a capsule house or something (which can't actually be used) and then do some quests where you get a mate afterwards? As for the whole female avatars thing... test tube babies? I know it doesn't really make sense but thats the best I can come up with.

Wouldn't one be able to have multiple characters per account?

DBO is set in the year Age 1000, which is 216 years after the end of the manga in Age 784.

Children? Very interesting... has this been done in a MMO before? (1500 WOOOO!)
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I really wish I had applied for the closed beta, it looked awesome. A number of people that didn't live in Korea managed to sneak their way in.
There are some rumblings now about an open beta, but I think it's just wishful thinking.

And if they do this whole aging thing, will the Nameccians much longer lifetimes be taken into account?

I think it'd be cool if you could die and hang out in the afterlife.

Yes, it's been done before.
@ Herms: The afterlife? I'd soooooooo love that! I'd probably die on purpose.

That looks neat. Espicially like the glowing effects used on the Super Saiyan.

I like how apparently Shenlong gave him new clothes too, just to be nice. But if Earthlings can wish to be Super Saiyans (Super Earthlings?), what "super skills" can Namekians and majin wish for?

Maybe that's how the Nameks in the game can get insanely tall?
As for Majins... maybe this will activate the power to turn people into candy for like 5 minutes? That would be awesome. XD

That's really stupid that the earthlings can be Super Saiyans. Why didn't they just give the option of being a Saiyan and allow you to access that stage through training.
I'm not impressed with this game at all.

Seriously why have Humans able to wish to become a Super Saiyan?
