As a sub-vote, I also would have liked it if the animal-people had stuck around. Where the heck did they all go off to?
What character would you have given a bigger role?

I've also got to throw my hat into the ring with Lunch. While there are a ton of characters I would have liked to see get more development, at least they got continuous screen-time! Why, Toriyama-san? Why did you forget about Lunch?

I would like to see someone from Freeza's race to fight alongside with the sayajins.
Every time someone says something about it,there you go with an irony or something else, leave it man.
This is a damn cartoon, i can also say that the powerups given to the sayajins or piccolo are bullshit too.
Plus, the last time i checked i saw goku doing the same with holy water, then he broke his limits over and over again, the same can be said about the other characters.
You are the one who is whining all the time against it.it's still the part of the series where humans can be players without having some bullshit powerup like people whine that Tenshinhan should've had.

It was supposed to unlock EVERY SCRAP OF HIDDEN POWER GOHAN HAD too.How can he surpass a powerup that unlocks EVERY SCRAP OF HIDDEN POWER HE HAD?

I agree with you.Uub was such a good character with so many potential, but hey if you want a good DBZ you just need to put 3 thousand sayans in the story.I really think that GT should have done more with Uub.
He is the reincarnation of the most powerful being in the universe, yet he never deals with his transformation from evil to good. He never had any hallucinations, and his confrontation with Mr. Buu was not what I had in mind.
Based on the fact that untrained kid Uub could challenge Goku would make me think that maybe after 10 years or so Uub would at least be able to take out Vegeta (who could never go SSJ3). I am thinking the Dragon Universe in DBZ:B3
That would be a good one too.Everybody who isn't a Saiyan.

Re: Hidden power.
Was anything ever stated to unlock every last bit of potential a character had?
I know we had powerups and unlocked potential things throughout the series (Karin's water, Saichoro's ... thing he does...), but were any plainly said to unlock everything one had?
And just to join the bandwagon: damn shit fuck bullshit damn shit shit hell!
... Maybe I should have color-coded it so it'd be actual "colorful language"? -_-.+

Gohan can't turn Super any more, he doesn't get a zenkai after Gotenks-Buu beats him down, and he no longer gets a power boost from pitching a hissy fit.caejones wrote:Re: Hidden power.

Also Elder Kai outright states that his powerup takes people beyond their limits.
How do you know he didn't get a Zenkai?
I also really doubt Gohan literally had all of his potential unlocked. The similar was stated for Krillin on Namek after Guru's power-up, and yet both Gohan and Krillin continued to train and get stronger. All Saiyans are supposed to have "infinite" potential.

What exactly was stated about Saichoro's potential-unlocking?smiley wrote:How do you know he didn't get a Zenkai?
