You have no idea how long it took me to get the Bucklers. I had friends searching hobby stores in Japan, until they found them for reasonable prices! If I see a cheap morpher on eBay, I'll let you know. Sometimes I find them really cheap before the scalpers get them.

Is that The Beatles I spy?

Yup, the Stereo and Mono Box Sets along side the R2 Cowboy Bebop Anniversary Remaster and the Renewal of Evangelion Set. These are some of my most prized items in my "Gallery".

Wow, lucky ya have both sets! I'm happy with the blue-box vinyl so I don't think I'll pick up any full remaster set, just my favorites of the albums.

Wow, you own the Blue Box Vinyl Set! That is so awesome. I've always wanted to buy those and the MFSL versions but sadly never did, or could afford them! I had to make do with the DESS Boots sourced from them. This will be as far as I would get to actually owning them.

Last off-topic post I'll make: the blue boxes are about the same as the new remastered sets (list price, not amazon or best buy) on ebay if you snipe 'em. Definitely worth having the set IMO.

So... how bout dem Dragon Ballz?

It was a collectors edition released in England. It contained a making of book and a poster. I'm not sure if it was released anywhere else in the world though...

I didn't notice Dabura doing that. :D
Maybe it's like Toy Story where they all come to life and fight it out when nobody's around. That would certainly explain the messy state my room always seems to be in.

Maybe it was exclusive to England since I didn't see it in the local Virgen Megastores or anywhere.

Can you show us the book and the poster, please?

This is where my colletion started with the hype around Dragonball,

Still don't know were these come from though, anyone know?

Manga.

Got the first 3 volumes of the Dutch Kanzenban and volumes 1 to 58, 75, 84 and 85 of the old release of the Dutch Manga Pockets.
Image

Also got this sticker book about a guy named Sangoku.
Image

Flippo's.

I think flippo is a Dutch term for these but I don't know how they call them in English.

Image

Image

Total: 182

Dragonball Z chess.

Image

Complete with all figures and a chess board

With every chess piece came a book that would explain more about the rules of chess and such.
Image

Also you got 3 pages with character profiles with every piece.
Which you could store in the additional
binder

Piccolo Daimao is called Piccolo and Piccolo Jr Piccolo 2.
To give you an example of how accurate the information is.

Dragonball Figures.

Image

Still have those bazooka's and tiny Dragonballs that came with the Krillin and Bardock, somewhere.

Dragonball Z magazines.

Image

Every magazine says "100% unofficial".
But hey Dragonball related stuff was hard to come by at the time so I bought it anyway.

Magazines 3+4
Magazines 5+6
Magazines 7+8
Magazines 9+10
Magazines 11+12

Also because every number would have a poster on the centerfold.

Posters.
Image

Centerfold 1/3
Centerfold 4/7
Centerfold 8/9

"Normal" posters. (also published as 100% unoficial)

Image

Poster 2
Poster 3

And finally, the games and a movie.

Image

Image

I also had Movies 2 and 3 on video but I think I threw them away at some point.
But meh, it was what some call the "Big Green" dub anyway.

So this is my Dragonball collection so far.
Still have this odd feeling I'm forgetting something though.

The holographic thick ones are from the "Holographic" or "Chromium" collection (North America release). The white border one is Hero Collection. The majority of what you have in pictures 3, 4, etc. are North America release "DBZ Trading Card", the green borders i think are from Italy (not exactly sure but i that's where i think they're from)? The black borders with numbers and wording game cards are either Trading Card Game or Collectible Card Game (TCG, CCG) from US. The small moving cards are Japan but I can't remember the name and the GT transparents one I have no idea.

The "flippo" things that you were talking about were called Pogs here in the US.

Those, my good sir, are some totally sweet Pogs. And on that line of thought, I was going to mutter something about the Chess Set being Piccolo-less but then I noticed Princess Snake was Black Queen and it filled me with joy ^^ Makes me wish Bojack was the king somehow...

And that first pic in "normal" posters boggles my mind just a little, because I know that image pretty well- but the bootleggers flopped it and changed littler Gohan into SSJ Gohan o_O Wha?

BTW, I have an extra unopened box of Data Carddass Premium Part 2 if anyone is interested. I bought 3 boxes and only opened 2 so I have an extra one.

I've always liked the idea of a Dragonball chess game, but I definitely would have used different characters for some of those pieces. First of all, I hate having the same character as multiple pieces (especially when there are so many to choose from), and I definitely would not have had Buu and Goku (that is Goku, right?) as pawns. Great collection!!

I love how it's got Jheese on Bulma's hover bike thingy, and Trunks on Hire Dragon, and Serpent Princess opposite No.18.
