1 more question. for the shipping if i didn't get it wrongly, for the DragonBox, which has 6 disc, its counted as 6 items? Thus the shipping would be the cost of 6 items, is that right? or do they count it as just 1 item?

Wait, the FUNi Boxes are only going to have 40 episodes each? For $70 each? If their target market is those who are too anal to accept the bricks, they should be doing it the same way as the original DB Boxes (ie: complete series sets).
And where's my JSAT special?!

They want these to actually be affordable.

But they're marketing it at us. People who aren't us will settle for the bricks since they're half the price. If
we are their target audience, $250 for all of DB and halfs of DBZ is a damn good price, and not far off from what they're asking for individually anyway.

I think most people here would think $250 is too costly. I sure as hell wouldn't buy it.

Yeahhh.... especially in this economy, breaking it down into more affordable sets is a good thing. I normally wouldn't mind $250/half of Z - but with the current economic climate where I'm looking for a job for the second time this year, I certainly preffer smaller bites so I can sneak it in small bits at a time.

Fair enough. I think they should still do more than 40 episodes, though. I wouldn't mind 50 for $60, but 40 for $70, when the alternative to buy 35-40 for $35 exists? BLECH!!!

I agree. I don't mind dropping 40-60 dollars every few months. Putting 250 up at once is too much for even me.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I mean I'd do it, but dropping $80 (or whatever it is) every couple of months has less of an impact than dropping $250 at once.

And besides, at most places and on Internet store, it's $50-60, so you're not dropping that much more cash than the Orange Bricks.

1 more question. for the shipping if i didn't get it wrongly, for the DragonBox, which has 6 disc, its counted as 6 items? Thus the shipping would be the cost of 6 items, is that right? or do they count it as just 1 item?
Don't worry, one box = 1 item ^^.

ok thanks! you're an Angel!
if that's the case, then this website would have the cheapest Dragon Box even cheaper than when RightStuf had the DB 40% off!

Well the Japanese ones had only two Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box releases, so I'm guessing that it will be the same for at least half the releases. I'm not expecting anything too spectacular in that department, kind of like the little quote on the back of every Dragon Ball Z Season Set.
