I dunno, I don't really see it as complaining. I just think a few people don't quite see the point. I personally like it; it's nice to have some historical context to place the events inbetween and the whole thing is pretty harmless at worst.
I'm already drooling over the DragonBook. I can't wait to see the remaining six. From the looks of it, we'll probably even get the voice actor interviews translated!

I can't wait to purchase the Dragon Box, I'm liking the packaging a lot and hope FUNi don't mess it up.
Just another Dragon Ball fangirl in the world.
DB & Tiger and Bunny are my main fandoms, along with many other animes.

One of the more minor (Read: VERY MINOR) things I'm happy about is the fact that the Dragon Book correctly lists the Saiya-jin Saga (or Vegeta Saga as FUNi has switched to since 2005) as being Episodes 1-35. As opposed to the Season Sets which had it go up to 39. That always irked me.
On a side note. Am I the only one who feels old saying "Saiya-jin Saga"?...*FUNi Kame-sennin voice*...Ehh, those kids today and their "Vegeta Saga". Back in my day it was called the "Saiyan Saga" AND WE LIKED IT DAMN IT!!!

I refer to it as Saiyan Saga also.Gozar wrote:

I've always referred to it as the Saiyan Saga, and still do. I dunno why FUNI calls it Vegeta. The dude doesn't do shit 'til his fight with Goku.KillerCory wrote:I refer to it as Saiyan Saga also.Gozar wrote:

Looking through the booklet, it seems FUNI jumps back and forth with it.

I noticed that, too. I consider those part of the "minor differences" I mentioned last night (like Page 5 or something).Tanooki Kuribo wrote:Hmm, I see they changed a few of the character art on the discs (Nappa, Goku, Vegeta...). Eh, not a big deal, it's all kept in the same spirit of the DragonBox and not anything super crazy.

In all honesty, I actually prefer the alternate artwork FUNi used. That style of drawing Piccolo has always kind of freaked me out.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:Hmm, I see they changed a few of the character art on the discs (Nappa, Goku, Vegeta...). Crazy, I know.

They refer to it as both "The Vegeta Saga" and "The Saiyan Saga" throughout the book.email2003 wrote:How do you mean back and forth?
It's more annoyingly inconsistent than anything else. I mean, if that's one of the worst things we can say about this release so far, I think we can give FUNi some slack.
Gah... Fast forum is fast.

I'll give FUNi a pass on that. It's just a minor thing in my view. No big deal for me.Hao_Kaiser wrote:They refer to it as both "The Vegeta Saga" and "The Saiyan Saga" throughout the book.email2003 wrote:How do you mean back and forth?
