When you do it it's pretty damn awesome. The problem is that if you wait just a hair too long to pull off a special attack it does no damage, as you can't hit someone as they're pulling themselves out of the wall.

Other than that, it's pretty awesome.
I can just see it getting repetitive. In one of the videos I saw it happened like 3 times in a row and really detracted from the fight.
It doesn't happen as often as you're probably thinking.

I also feel disappointed. They didn't even bother to give him a back-story as to how he reached ssj3? :(

But yeah, the whole idea of Vegeta reaching ssj3--with no explanation--then promptly defeating ssj3 Gotenks, an equally unexplained ssj3 Brolli, and then ssj3 Goku himself seems really out there. o_O;;;
It could totally end with Vegeta waking up in bed and the entire sequence having been a dream.

I don't know, it's not like Goku or Gotenks really have much backstory for how they reached it. They were just training and picked it up somehow or another, so I guess Vegeta would be the same.

That's true...maybe I just had my hopes up too high for a back-story. Ssj3 is my least-favorite ssj form (everyone looks like a blonde, eyebrow-less Raditz?) and as it's one of Raging Blast's most publicized special features, I was hoping there'd be some nice "What if" stories behind the new achievements for Vegeta and Brolli to get me interested in it. :(

He's a tool. I also see that he's wearing a Yankee's jersey in that video, I dislike him even more now.

Aww, don't make fun of people for getting out there and creating content for the web! Even if they look like they want to be a Chris Sabat impersonator putting on a show of "cool".

That's kinda why I started dressing up in a shirt and tie last few times I did panels at conventions, though.

I recently downloaded the demo, since I have xbox live and never use it, and here are my thoughts.

-controls seemed clunky, but this could be because I haven't played a Sparking game in a long time.
-Graphics are unimpressive. Burst Limit looked better.
-I guess there are transformation in the game, but the animation is really lame.

Well, that's all I really have to say. Not much at all. I just find it sad the transformations and special effects looked better in budokai 3, which is now many years old and is on Ps2.

Jesus shit, I spit my coke all over perfectly good printer paper at 4:00.

I mean, damn.

As for that Vegeta clip, wow, they don't even show WHY he's fighting Gotenks? This might sound redundant with the game series we're talking about, but that is just lazy.

As posted up on the home page:
VegettoEX wrote:Many online retailers have dropped the price of Raging Blast on the PS3 from $59.99 to $49.99 (Amazon, Gamestop, etc.). Interestingly, the 360 version remains at the $59.99 on Amazon, but Gamestop has dropped it to $49.99 to match the PS3 version.

We have reached out to Namco-Bandai to clarify whether this is a change at the MSRP level, or if this is retailer-specific.

UPDATE: Word from Namco-Bandai is that the MSRP is indeed still $59.99, and that any lower price at launch is a retailer-specific, limited-time promotion.
If you're in North America and picking it up this week, make sure you get a good deal on it. If you've pre-ordered from anyone, be sure to bring in a print-out of the online price and guarantee you get your extra $10-off.

Gamestop will have the game available at the Release Date. I just got a call from them saying it will be in the stores Tuesday morning, same day as Modern Warfare 2. This is just in the North Jersey area. Don't know if it's true for the other stores, but I'd imagine so.

I agree. Budokai's what-ifs were so much more fleshed-out. Remember Tiencha's origin?

I've played some of the Buu saga and I must say it's awesome... The first couple battles I did were extremely fun. Gotenks's Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack is neat, and Vegeta's Final Impact is good, too, but the thing that really got me going is that Fat Buu has the move that he KO'ed Gohan with (face close up and everything). Plus I've been playing the music from the show, which has been adding to the epicness. Sometimes I play music from other games (BlazBlue, Shinobi etc...). So as you can tell, I've been having a lot of fun so far.
