FUNimation Dragon Box Z #1 (In-Hands) Discussion
I'd be willing to bet that the TV Specials will come out along with the movies. Then again, all we have confirmed are the DBZ TV Series and its 13 movies... When and if a Dragon Box ZA MOOOOVVIIIIEEEESSSS comes out, I hope they go on to add the 4 Dragonball movies as well and make it a worthwhile Dragon Box... Or Boxes... They did after all say that they have the rights to DB Movie 1...

A separate Dragon Box for the movies and/or TV specials would be a great idea. I've read someone saying that the picture of Gohan is going to be shortened on the spine. If they release a set with movies (and maybe TV specials), they can complete the spine!
An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

Couldn't they've just re-sized the image?LeprikanGT wrote:The spine photo is drastically cut in half because the US Dbox is FAR smaller than the real ones....which I truly hate about them.

In any case, I do think that the there should be a "Dragon Box" release of the TV specials and possibly the Playdia Footage. If they do include it with the batch of episodes that each of the TV specials aired alongside with, even if it having to pay a little extra more, that would be awesome. That's the option I would prefer anyways. If not, I'm fine with a separate "Dragon Box" release.Jon Jon wrote:I don't see them releasing the specials on the dragon boxes. They sell the specials separately. I could see them releasing a "dragon box" release of the specials, but I don't expect them to have them on the dbox set...but it would be pretty cool. Even give it its own dvd case and make it part of the image in the box (like the dragon book) ;D

Same here. -_-SSJSteve wrote:My Dragon Box got shipped out on the 6th of November from AxelMusic, and I'm still waiting for it! I hope so too. The playdia footage should be included as a special add on to something...Sebastian (SB) wrote:In any case, I do think that the there should be a "Dragon Box" release of the TV specials and possibly the Playdia Footage. So, any major retail store going to have this out at 12AM? I'm thinking of just getting it at a local retail store since one of my bills pushed my funds around 5 dollars short of the rightstuff order(thankfully no funds will go through) and causing an overdraft.
I suspect Target and and major retail stores to have it up in 9 hrs from now. Central Standard Time.

All you're doing is adding more fuel to his fire with that post. People telling me or other people how I should be watching a show just pisses me off.Kendamu wrote:Excuse us for enjoying a domestic Dragonball release once in a great while. Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

The Target and Walmart website listings both say the set won't be available in store.Daimo-Rukiri wrote:I suspect Target and and major retail stores to have it up in 9 hrs from now. Central Standard Time.
I mean... Granted, the set isn't technically out yet, but, all the same. YMMV.

Yeah, you're right. What he's doing in this thread is exactly what he was doing toward me in PM and why I chose not to PM with him any further... so he came in here and shat all over this thread. Irritability got the best of me and I fired back at him. My point is still valid, but it is a low blow toward a thread that's been pretty nice so far.jjgp1112 wrote:All you're doing is adding more fuel to his fire with that post.Kendamu wrote:Excuse us for enjoying a domestic Dragonball release once in a great while. Not sure if any of you have seen this yet, but here are some official photos of the Dragon Box from Funimation on Flickr:

Here's part of it from Funimation's Flickr. I don't mind it to be honest....Kendamu wrote:Yes, yes. Forceful and rigorous, indeed.LeprikanGT wrote:The spine photo is drastically cut in half because the US Dbox is FAR smaller than the real ones....which I truly hate about them.
This is what you're roughly looking at getting.
