Here's the offending screen, taken with VLC:

And here's a good shot from a different frame for comparison: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/549/ ... h13m00.png

These are by no means indicative of the set's quality in general, but this one jumped out at me.
Nooooooo!!!!! Curse you Funi! That's like THE most important scene ever!

Bleh.
It's there on my R2 singes but I never notice it unless I'm actually watching it on my mac.

Whoah really? Granted I only watched that episode once when I still owned the R2's, I didn't notice it either.

I probably won't pick this Dbox up, but if they ever get around to releasing The Movies, then I'll have that in a second.

It's because of that one flawed frame, right?

I know it's so trivial, I shouldn't bother posting it (you decide!), but I finally received my shipping notice from Amazon. needless to say (though, obviously I'm saying it... what the hell is with that phrase?), I'll be ordering any further Funimation products from TRSI.

Now I know! (And knowing is half the battle! GI JOE!)

Also, I'm on the fence over whether I should collect all the DBoxes. I don't feel any great necessity to own all of DBZ. Though, I have a feeling I might be changing my mind when I actually get the first one.

Just take it one at a time. When the next one comes out, if you feel like getting it then get it. Otherwise focus on other things. Not a big deal. It's not like you can't come back and get it a few months or a couple years later like the Season Sets.

Well, the thing is, I feel like there are certain groups of episodes that I really want in Dragon Box quality, on DVD, and others I don't really care about, or are low priorities to own.

For instance, whichever set happens to have the Cell Games on it will be one of the Dragon Boxes I'll want as soon as possible.

Mine arrived an hr ago and it's "GORGEOUS" I do hate the box though it was quite hard to get the dragon book out... and luckily I received a perfect copy with no broken pieces :D

Star Studios gives this a 10/10!

I was gonna do a unboxing video but meh wanted to jump right into watching it 8)

I had a scare when I first opened mine up. One of the discs wasn't fastened down properly, and was dangling around freely in one of the DVD cases. Luckily, though, there were no scratches on it. Oh man, I would've been so pissed otherwise.

I tend to have to lightly hold the opening of the box down (as if the cases and book were to fall out) and have my other hand underneath to catch them. They slide out plenty in order to be able to comfortably pull them the rest of the way out.

I read a review on Amazon which said the dub is out of sync: is this true?

Quick question for someone with the set in hand and a working slimline PS2: Will the discs play in that system? It's my intention to suggest this purchase to a friend of mine, but the only feasible DVD player in his possession is that particular system . . . and I sold mine to upgrade to PS3, so I can't check. ^_^;

From what I remember, the Bricks chose not to play. Do the Boxes behave similarly?
