I received the set yesterday. It's really nice. The last disc, disc 6, had a couple of scratches. I really hope it doesn't affect playback. I was looking through the book and noticed that it says Vegeta Saga and Namek Saga. Isn't that what Funimation names the first two sagas? If this set is for the "hardcore," why is it not just translated from the original? The last few pages names the first saga as Saiyan Saga, which I believe is correct.

Mine's still on its way, too, so you probably won't be the last.Castor Troy wrote:My Dbox is still in transit according to UPS. I think I'm going to be the last one on this board who gets it.

I have a bad luck streak when it comes to Dragon Boxes. The only one I ever got successfully was the movies box, then I sold it here a year later.penguintruth wrote:Mine's still on its way, too, so you probably won't be the last.Castor Troy wrote:My Dbox is still in transit according to UPS. Dbox 1: Had a chance to get it in 2003 for $300+, but decided to go on a plane trip instead.
Dbox 2: Had a chance to get it in 2008 from a local Bookoff store, but I had to work. Someone from this forum who lived in the area snatched it up instantly.
GT Box: Saw it at another Bookoff in 2008 but didn't want it.
Original Dbox: Saw it at Anime Jungle in 2006 but was too expensive.
Movies Dbox: Got it off Amazon.jp in 2006 for $280, enjoyed it, then sold it a year later since I wanted to go to AWA and Comic Con, plus get an Xbox 360.
Dbox 1 Domestic: Ordered from Amazon then ironically canceled my order one day before most people's Amazon Dboxes were shipping. Ordered from Rightstuf thinking I could get it early, but they didn't ship it out until the actual release day.
I bet I need to rescue a princess in order to get the next Dragon Box.

You just HAD to have a screencap from Over 9,000, didn't you?
I think I'm really lucky compared to some people here when it comes to redundant purchases of the series...this is my only Dragonball DVD purchase since the first Season Set, which I gave away weeks after I got it (only watched about 7 episodes to boot).

Ohhhhh my god, I laughed my ass off! I want to frame it; it was that funny to me lol.Puto wrote:Sorry, your Dragon Box is in another castle!Castor Troy wrote: I bet I need to rescue a princess in order to get the next Dragon Box.
Anyways, I just checked my Walmart, and they don't have the Dragon Box. I have no idea why. They have Season Nine, Dragonball Season One, and Evangelion 1.01 or whatever it's called. That had the same release date as the Dragon Box I thought. Maybe because it's not a big ass boxset, and the D Box is? I dunno... my Walmart is tiny and retarded. So they might never get it lol.

It may be a similar situation to DragonBall season one, though, where they stock it a month later, or something. I dunno. :/

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Good job you just spent more than $100 because you don't have patience.Ultimate DBZ wrote:You know what? I know I've already spent $55.00 on the Dragon Box pre-ordering it online, but I think I'm just going to buy it at a Best Buy or something. I don't care if I'm buying it twice, I just can't wait anymore.
