Why Majin Buu is the worst villain in DBZ

I think every time Goku does a Kamehameha he is going for damage. I've never seen him do one just for kicks/playing around.

But of course Gotenks didn't finish him off right away like everyone thought he would and should have. But what are you gonna do.

You said you've never seen Goku doing a Kamehameha for kicks or whatever, but he pretty much knew that he couldn't defeat Boo and was only fighting to hold him off... meaning he wasn't trying to damage him so much in that fight (Kamehameha and all) as he was just buying time for the Earth.

Yeah, later he specifically said he could have killed Fat Boo, but wanted the younger generation to save the Earth instead of him. He said so right before he actually did try, but ultimately failed, to finish off Kid Boo.

I looked this up in the VIZ manga before he started posting. He said that he doesn't think he could've, then it was revealed that he didn't even try to defeat Boo. Goku then went on to explain that he doesn't exist in the living world anymore and that the living should take care of Boo.

Oh, okay! Right after the fat Boo fight he said he couldn't have beaten Boo. Right before the kid Boo fight he said he could've beaten fat Boo.

This was particularly blatant in the Buu saga.

I guess that means it's kind of difficult and potentially pointless to have a serious conversation about someone's intentions and strength in the Boo arc, isn't it?

Buu is awesome character by the way! It is my favorite villain..... Hee looks like idiotic fatso made from bubble gum and I think he pretty revived the series after those annoying Cell Games.
Cell was some badass guy, but after that fight against Vegeta and Trunks (which pissed me off, because Vegeta was acting like strongest being beyond your time and space but you knew that he is no match for Cell).
Then goes that pacifist called Gohan, who is claimed to be as strong as 2 Gokus + contact mine in killing box, screaming: I don't wanna fight you, leave Britney alone!!! And after his achievement of SSJ2 he's acting like some spoiled b***h.
No, he will suffer for what he did!!! That's like throwing dil*o which is turned on in water closet full of s**t.
In result Son Goku died/his father died..........

I was pretty angry for sacrificing my dear hours of my life on Cell Games (I was annoyed later in manga as well, can say that anime is here superior for building tension in empire of boredomness).........

As compensation, I got Majin Buu in the series, and he's actually not one villain......
1. I got Fat grotesque and childish acting being, who doesn't look that harmable.....
2. Then I got his pure evil version of himself.....
3. Then I got them merged together in evil maniac....
4. evil maniac smart as Piccolo
5. evil maniac smart as Piccolo with Gotenks' silly but powerfull moves....
6. All that before plus Gohan's power.....
7. After removing his powerups, here we go with bubble gum killing spree...

I was pleased a lot and also celebrating return of Goku instead of Gohan..... I liked Gohan only on Namek and after his powerup by Elder Kaioshin, mostly because I don't like ''nerds'' in terms of studying.

I don't know what are people always complaining about Buu, he is magical creature and he can do and learn anything.....
That's also part of the gag.

What is for example that awesome about Cell?? That he actually uses attacks seen before because he's made from genes of previous villains and major characters??

Buu is able to memorize attacks seen before and perform them right away as addition to his unique and stochastic combat skills.

Well kid Buu wasn't as strong as super Buu... he was just PURE EVIL. Goku's Kamehameha was close range and Goku wasn't fucking about at that point. But what's annoying is in the dub Goku said he was holding back so Vegeta could have a go, resulting in wasting energy... what a dunce.

I happen to like the Buu saga a lot though I have to agree it might have been the weakest arc of Dragonball Z (though the Cell arc is a close contender . . . which I also enjoy). I have to disagree with Rocketman though that nothing was inherent about the spirit bomb. Overall that technique is made up with the power of "good" ki which suggests that the spirit bomb really worked against Kid Buu not only because it gathered energy from all the universe but it was basically an attack made of benevolent energy against a purely chaotic, malovelant being. Then again you might want to take that theory with a grain of salt . . . I just thought it was inkeeping with the spirit of the series.

Nobody said he was stronger than Super Buu.

I always thought Chibi Boo was the strongest... I'm not sure why, I figured him absorbing Kaioshin diluted his powers.

Stop attacking me! I didn’t say anyone said he was stronger than super buu. Anyway, yeah I was trying to state that kid buu was indeed weaker than super buu and compared the fact that as he’s weaker, then he’s more vulnerable to goku’s kamehameha wave and therefore resulting in just... being blown to pieces. And also Kid Buu has very little fighting experience, that’s what lost him the fight with the spirit bomb and everything.

I like the idea that Majin Buu's power for regeneration is limited even if it is the most advanced and startling of all regeneration abilities. If a great enough outburst of ki is made and nothing is left of Buu then he is gone for good. That's what happened at the end of the saga with the Genki Dama.

Exactly, the genki-dama was big enough to completely destroy every cell (if thats what he has) of him. Like Vegeta's Final Atonement (truly sad indeed, made me cry lol), buu was blown to bits but came back like a fu*ker. MAN THAT MADE ME ANGRY lol.
