Why Majin Buu is the worst villain in DBZ

Wait a second... didn't super Buu beg Vegeta not to pull Buu from the pod?....

I'm going by Funimation Dub with this but, Super Buu begged to not remove the pod because he wouldn't be himself anymore. That was his "humane" part of him speaking in order to prevent himself from going senseless. With that pod removed he would become Kid Buu with no sense of humanity or good.

Yeah, it's different because Freeza was just beaten and Buu didn't want to lose who he was.

I think Boo was the ultimate villain, being kind of an "upgraded" version of Cell.

Cell could regenerate his oart of his body was still intact (from where the missing parts could re-grow) or - in the case his whole body was gone - if he still had his main brain cell intact.
Boo can regenerate as long as ANY molecule remains intact.

Cell couldn't recover from his wounds despite his regeneration process (getting his ass kicked by several characters depending on the moment).
As long as you don't keep attacking Boo, he will simply "erase" the wounds by reforming his body.

Finally, Cell could absorb the cyborgs to get his perfect body and had DNA from some of the Dragon Team members.
Boo can absorb anybody (including any Dragon Team member, which is very dangerous) and as many people as he wants.

So basically, it was like "we had an enemy able to regenerate and able to own the possibilities of the Dragon Team, let's take that to the extreme: an enemy which endlessly regenerates if you don't pulverise him completely and who can absorb anybody and use the power and moves of anybody".

And buu can also reshape his body any way he wants to (Cell can`t) and he can also do magic and transform stuff (Cell can´t).

You know what? Same here! No matter how long it was extended to... INCLUDING the saiyaman stuff, it is truly the best arc I've ever seen out of the show.

Exactly! I mean... the whole arc just pushed all the characters to a completely different level, and I personally find that spectacular. We got fusion, super saiyan 3, "THE DARK PRINCE RETURNS", a kind of love story between Gohan & Videl, and a fantastic involvement with the other world. Not to mention the tenkaichi budokai being reintroduced for a bit! It's great! I remember I started watching it at around late 2004/beginning 2005! Amazing!

The Buu saga is why a lot of the people I Know stopped watching the show (Including myself initially).

I only see this as a bad thing because it's Looney Tunes, not Looney Toons, a pretty common mistake. Other than that, I'm generally okay with the Buu Saga, as I'm more of a fan of early DB anyway.

The Majin Boo arc: Extraneous? Yeah, probably. Worth it? Totally.

I only fault it for bringing an abrupt end to Gohan's life as a teenaged superhero. He could have done so much more with that as the anime shows!

I don't think Boo was the worst villain, as I feel that all the baddies of the series were cool in their own way. My favorite form of the character is Super Boo.
As for the arc itself, I love it because it kept you guessing, and something new was happening all the time; Spopovich and Yamu, Shin and Kibito, Dabura, Babidi's space ship, the fusions, all the Boos, and the secret past of Kid Boo finally being revealed.

Everybody has a different point of view, some people haven't even watched Dragon Ball after the first chapter/episode, and that doesn't mean it's not good, so...

I think that Buu is one of the greatest villains. Why? Because of that he actually extincted the whole human race, and there was nothing ~GOKU~ could do about it!

It seems like most of the people that think that Buu saga is the worst started watching Dragonball Z, and those who like it started with Dragonball.
Just a conclusion I have made out of posts written in Daizex forums during the years.
