How fast did Goku heal in the rejuvenation chamber?

Like the title says how fast did Goku actually heal? I doubt it was a "few minutes" like a fansub of Kai said. So how long was it? 10 minutes, 20? Because I doubt that whole battle with Freeza before Goku showed up took place in the span of a few minutes.

Vegeta says in the comic he figures somebody like Kakarrot would heal up in 40-50 minutes, I believe.

When did he say that? I was flipping through my Viz Big and I got to the part where Piccolo was telling Gohan to wish him back and I couldn't find a trace of that.

Wow, I didn't know it was that short. It's really strange when you try to put the events in actual minutes instead of "This happened in this episode in oh so many minutes"

I first realized how short fights actually were when I saw how Vegeta couldn't even last a minute against Kid Buu.

On the third page of chapter 291 Krillin asks Vegeta how long it'll take Goku to be fully healed, and Vegeta responds that it'll take about 40~50 minutes with the damage he received. I guess in the VizBig that would be chapter 97, page 3.

Yeah, you can't take anything from the show as exactly time consistent; a.k.a. DragonBall Z isn't exactly like the show "24", otherwise the Ginyu Tokusentai and Freeza battles would have taken up about 18-20 episodes. In fact, just the other night Herms was filling me in on a couple things, and those battles take up a single day. That single day took place over 60 chapters, which according to his calculations made up 11.5% of the entire series. It just shows you how long that battle was drawn out in comparison to what it would have been like in real-time.
