3 New "Kai" Koro-chan Packs
I just got an e-mail from CDJapan, notifying me that three new koro-chan packs will be released on February 24, 2009, for 1,500 yen. If you remember, another koro-chan pack was supposed to be released in July, but it was canceled.
These three new ones (containing a 12-cm CD and a picture book) will be titled "Goku vs. Vegeta," "Goku vs. Ginyu Force," and "Goku vs. Frieza." What's with the dub names? Anyway, I'm assuming each will contain music from an arc of the series - Saiyan, Namek/Ginyu, and the Freeza arc.
The first one should have "Over the Star," the second with "Take the Stage! Ginyu Special-Squad!!", and the third should have "Only a Chilling Elegy ~The Theme of Freeza~." Unfortunately, only one song has been confirmed for each - "Dragon Soul."

An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

Re: 3 New "Kai" Koro-chan Packs
Slightly Updated tracklists:
Koro-chan Pack Dragon Ball Kai: Goku vs. Vegeta
1. DRAGON SOUL
2. SAIYAN BLOOD
3. WIN TOUGH FIGHT!
4. / DRAGON SOUL
5. YEAH! BREAK! CARE! BREAK!
6. WIN TOUGH FIGHT!
Second Win Tough Fight and Dragon Soul are probably karaoke versions.
Koro-chan Pack Dragon Ball Kai: Goku vs. Ginyu-Tokusentai
1. DRAGON SOUL
2. -
3. CHASER!!
4. -
5. YEAH! BREAK! CARE! BREAK!
6. CHASER!! note - karaoke?
It's logic, that those tracks missing from tracklist are Sanjou!! Ginyu Tokusentai vocal and karaoke versions.
Koro-chan Pack Dragon Ball Kai: Goku vs. Freeza
1. DRAGON SOUL
2. -
3. OVER THE STAR
4. / DEMON KAKKA
5. YEAH! BREAK! CARE! BREAK!
6. -
Demon Kakka/Kogure is Freeza's theme, Banka Elegy and missing tracks will probably be karaoke of Elegy and Over The Star.
I also think that those spaces in tracklists might be some comentary or audio cut from episode od DB Kai.

The cover image to "DragonBall Kai ~Goku vs The Ginyu Special-Squad~"; it's both dynamic and amusing to me all at the same time because of the kicking motion. It's that which catches my eye a lot more than the other two covers (which seem kind of static to me), but at the same time sticking Goku there with the Ginyus makes it look like he's posing too. XD

The missing tracks are actually "Super Dragon Soul / Ultra Super Dragon Soul" and a karaoke version of it, which is awesome.MCDaveG wrote:Koro-chan Pack Dragon Ball Kai: Goku vs. Freeza

Kanzentai has the rest of the tracks listed for the other packs, btw.

In all fairness, though, I haven't added the cover art yet...
