Whatever.
I feel really bad for owning all the series SEVERAL times over. I'm thinking of one day selling my DragonBox singles for the big boxes.

Once upon a time everything was lovely. But that was before I had to deal with people.

Oh, and I forgot to mention I own all the released Ultimate Uncut DVDs. So I own the Saiyan arc about 6 times. Dandy!

I like having ALL the versions Funi has put out as a collection for a whole. I own everyhting they have put out since switching over to DVD, except for the Blurays for the Double Features.

No reason to double post. There is an edit button.Xane wrote:Oh, and I forgot to mention I own all the released Ultimate Uncut DVDs. So I own the Saiyan arc about 6 times. Dandy!

Same here except I have all the single DVD DBZ movies. I don't have and of the DVD or Blu-Ray double features either.LeprikanGT wrote:I like having ALL the versions Funi has put out as a collection for a whole. Same, except movies 2 and 4 on vhs. Movie 4 came out a month before I got a dvd player. And got movie 2 back in 1999, when most of us middle-class folk didn't have dvd players.craddle wrote:

Re: How many of you own the entire series?
This is interesting stuff, I really like comparing collections with all of the different versions.
Dragon Ball: Volumes 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the saga sets (General Blue-Tenshinhan sagas).
Dragon Ball Z: Ocean's dub- All except for volumes 9, 10, 12, 15, and 17. (So all of Saiyan saga, need 5 of Namek).
FUNimation singles- All except for the Imperfect Cell and Majin Bu Sagas (need 11 volumes).
Ultimate Uncut Special Editions- All 9 volumes
Dragon Ball GT: All FUNimation singles
Movies: Dragon Ball- 2, 3, and "Path to Power" (FUNi box set)
Dragon Ball Z- Ocean's- 1 and 2
"First Strike" and FUNi singles- All 13 discs
TV Specials: All 3 domestic releases thus far (Trunks is on VHS though).
I've got only what I guess you would call the U.S. singles format. I still need 17 more discs which kind of sucks but I think I've got a lot considering they're discontinued. I've gotten most of them as of last year just because I wanted to finish what I started and not double dip on the lousier season sets. I'm planning on getting the Dragon Boxes, at least the first two to fill in the missing episodes. I also want to get most of the Dragon Ball season sets to fill in those episodes.

Just double checking, but are you counting the JSAT special as the 4th special?Hero 004 wrote:Specials- All 4 (Trunks is on VHS though).

Probably DB Movie 4, since they made note of having the FUNi boxset (which was movies 2-4, if memory serves).Hujio wrote:Just double checking, but are you counting the JSAT special as the 4th special?Hero 004 wrote:Specials- All 4 (Trunks is on VHS though).

Yeah, the 10'th Anniversary special, Bardock, Trunks, and the GT special are the four that I was referring to. I failed to acknowledge that I'm missing the fifth special from the Jump Anime Tour.

@craddle:
I've got the 13 movie singles, plus the first strike box and the broly triple threat dvds in the thin cases. All uncut with box boxes for the first and second 3 movies.

Re: How many of you own the entire series?
"The Path to Ultimate Strength" was actually a theatrical release, so it's a movie. Whereas the Bardock/Trunks/GT specials were produced for and aired on television in Japan. That's where the confusion came in. Plus, there is a third DBZ special that was aired in December of 1993 that was called "We'll Show You Everything: Forget the Year's Cares with DragonBall Z." It was never released on DVD or anything else though.Hero 004 wrote:Yeah, the 10'th Anniversary special, Bardock, Trunks, and the GT special are the four that I was referring to. Thanks, that's neat, I can imagine that one was incredible on the big screen. My original post is now corrected.

From the Daizenshuu EX Rumor Guide:Vision wrote:Wait....what?!
Daizenshuu EX wrote:There was also a third DBZ TV special that aired in Japan, though it was nothing like the Bardock or Trunks TV specials. This special was more of a compilation of footage introduced by Goku and Gohan (dressed up all nicely) to celebrate the show and ring in the new year. 「全部見せます 年忘れDRAGONBALLZ」 (Zenbu Misemasu Toshi Wasure DRAGONBALL Z / We'll Show You Everything: Forget the Year's Cares with DragonBall Z) aired on 31 December 1993 and has not been included on any home releases in Japan thus far (including extras on Dragon Box sets and individual DVD releases). You can watch a VHS-capture on YouTube, and will see for yourself that it is not so much a "lost episode" or "lost movie" than it is just a little, toss-away, special New Year's Eve bit of filler-programming.
Re: How many of you own the entire series?
I wish I could say I own all of it, but I don't, because I've gotten ripped off twice with deals on the original DB Dragonbox. I do have a lot of stuff, though.

Re: How many of you own the entire series?
I don't have the whole series yet (reborn-DBZ fandom) but I plan to get all the orange bricks because my sister loves the dub, and the Dragon boxes because I want default Japanese & the full picture. After buying the english DBZ mangas, I plan to buy the Kanzenban
(and soon enough I'll be able to read it, planning to study abroad 1 year @ Sophia in 2011!!)
So... a lot of planning here lol. Definitely won't be at you guys levels (which is Over 9000)
