Ginyû filler being retained? Oh no!

So our friends at Kanzentai have updated with episode #44's title...A Physical War That Exceeds All Limits! Goku and Freeza and Ginyu, Again?!

I have to wonder...is this Ginyû/Bulma filler or filler on Kaiô's world? If it's the former, I suppose it makes a bit more sense that it might be hard to cut out, but...urgh.

I'm guessing right now that there was no way to cut around whichever filler it is, so they left it in. They've had to do that before so it's not completely out of the question.

Some filler is placed in unavoidable ways, like Greggory, iirc. If they're steeped into important scenes, they can't just be tossed to the wayside. Otherwise, it could damage important scenes by cutting key bits.

Paint over Gregory, erase him, reanimate/rewrite scenes. It's not a big deal.

If they were willing to do that much work to remove filler characters from important scenes, then they would have been better off just doing a whole new series.

For Gregory it wasn't that bad though. Most of it can be cut out by getting rid of insignificant scenes. Not only that they did far more work with the censorship.

Ginyu wasn't in the filler on Kaio's planet so I'm assuming it's the whole Bulma body changing thing.

I would have preferred the Humans vs. Ginyu force filler. Bulma is boring.

Oh, we're definitely getting that too, they squeezed those guys into a heap of canon scenes set at Kaiou's, including the one where Kaiou assumes Freeza is dead (for the first time)

Welp, our friends at Kanzentai have updated with #45's episode title. "It's a 20-Fold Kaio-ken! A Kamehameha With Everything on the Line" leads me to believe episode #44 will only cover Dragon Ball Z episode #89 with some of #90. If such is true, I suspect #45 will cover #90 (or what was not covered in the previous episode) and #91, so that it might end with the Twenty-Times Kaiô-ken. Which means the Ginyû filler...might cover two episodes...or three!!

Depending upon whether or not that stuff is integrated with the canon material the Ginyû Special Corp. fight might be in Dragon Ball Kai too, espicially if they want to get their run out of the new cast.
