And I guess it would be Maron for a girl. That's a nice sounding name. Although Ten would probably work for a girl's name as well...

 I sure hope that's not a typo because Borli is an awesomely bad name.
 I wish I could say it wasn't but now that I look at it, would be a terribly awesome name! :D

I'm sure I'd go with "Goten" or something like that for a middle name. I'd just raise my kid to be proud of his name and not care what others think.

Oh, really? He posts here? That's so cool. Too bad he's hardly ever online. :(

Did he do Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT also?

I don't know about GT, but he didn't do original DB. That was Clide "Tomato" Mandalin. (SP?)

While I'd sooner die than reproduce (and probably would, seeing as I've managed to remain single for... umm... how old am I, again? *seriously isn't sure* ... I think I turn... what's 2010 - 1988? 22! 22 this month...)... th eonly thing I ever casually think about in that area is names, just because.
I think I did consider the DB direction at least once, but don't really remember what my conclusion was. For some reason I'm thinking Gohan. Dunno why. Goten if there're two?

Some modified version of Krillin doesn't sound too outlandish. "Burter" is suspiciously similar to "Burt"... And there's "Jace" / "Jheese"... And of course "Appule"

Hehehe, nah. I'd probably go with "Freeza". Or Fr1eza if it passes for fake-german. :P

I have kids...two of 'em; one boy, and an unknown on the way. :)

My first's middle name is Campbell, after Roy Campbell from the Metal Gear Solid series.

My second's middle...I'm undecided. I may name it after a Dragon Ball character.

I guess another good name for a kid could very possibly be Tao after Tao Pai Pai. Come to think of it, I think that is an actual name.

Also the name of a major religion too.

I would never give a child a Dragonball first name. However, if I felt like being funny, I'd give my child the middle name "Mister Announcer."

Clyde Mandelin. And yes, Daimao did DBGT too.

Maybe Frieze? It's pronounced "free-zuh", but it looks more like a name. You know what? I feel like naming my child "Tomato". :P

I have a friend named Thien (pronounced Tien, even though I always call the DB character Tenshinhan).

Personally, I think Hachi would be cool, and I could nickname them Ha-chan. Also, if I wanted to tease them a little, I could pretend to sneeze, "HACHEEE". The Red Ribbon names would be cool, too! Red, Blue, Silver...oooo, and Voilet for a girl.

I think Akira Toriyama has done something similar to this too, however. If I'm not mistaken, he gave his son a ninja name! Sasuke! No, not the one from Naruto, because he was born well before it. Of course, I'm not too familiar with normal Japanese names, so I don't know if that is used a lot or what.

If only it was that easy, eh? "I'll just raise my child not to have any negative traits!" :D

I'd name my least favourite child Pu'reh. Then everyone would know to exclude him/her from society. I'd name my favourite child, regardless of gender, Jimmy Firecracker. They would not take my last name.

The middle child would be called Mr. Satan. They would go to Sunday school, even on weekdays.

The only Dragon Ball names that I can think of being acceptable in real-life are Mark and Gregory. At least those names are actual names used outside of DB.

Well, perhaps Marron sounds "ordinary" enough to pass an acceptable real-life name. But seriously, anyone thinking of naming their child "Goten" or "Vegeta", you're basically giving schoolkids a free pass to taking the piss out of them.

Then again, I'm just talking about whether those names would be fine in the West. I would say some Dragon Ball names would at least be seen as acceptable in Japan. Akira's a deffo accepted name. Maybe Mai. I mean, Dragon Ball is a Japanese manga...

That kid better be a martial arts badass.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Are we related then? Since my brother is named #20, and my twin siblings #17 and #18. They didn't get me such a name, though. They just call me "Seru". I don't know what that means.

But a name like "Goten" isn't outlandish enough to get a kid made fun of constantly. It's just different for a name.

I wouldn't name my children after any Dragon Ball character. I'm not that cruel. Or that much of a weaboo.

Which, clearly, makes you a far grander and righteous anime fan than anyone else on the planet.

Replace "Dragon Ball character" with "sports figure" and let's talk again.

I'm of the mindset that naming a child after anything that's nothing more than a "personal like" (as in something that you are interested in) probably isn't the best way to go. What if you change your mind on that person/place/thing? Suddenly you've got a child to eternally remind you of it :P.
