Say you had kids......

Ok, lets say that everyone on that frequents this forum has bore at least one child. My multi-layered question is; which dragonball name(s) do you think are most acceptable in real life? And if there are any, which one(s) would you choose if any at all? I bet there are a couple of hardcore (or crazy) enough fans on this forum that have or would do something like this.

If you don't think there are any names that aren't "normal" enough to use as a child's name. I also would like to hear your "real-life" versions of the characters names as well. Example: I looked at the name Broly and found a real life equivalent in Braulio; an Italian boys name thats rarely used .

As far as I know, Daimao's kid is named "Ma Jr." I refuse to accept any truth otherwise.

Goten sounds pretty normal to me. I'd personally use it.
How lucky would a kid be to have a serious Dragonball fan as a parent, eh?
I mean, seriously - I know I'd love to be raised with Akira's outlandish stories. But let's not get carried away here.

I wouldn't name my kids after a character. ^^;

I do know that some celebrities do things like that--I forget which celebrities it was, but didn't a couple name their daughter "Apple"?

I'm awful indecisive at naming in general; I know that when the time comes I'm gonna be so stressed out trying to pick a name. >_<

But as to the question of which names sound the most like you could see people in rl walking around with them; Marron, Maron, Yajirobe, Tenshinhan, and Paris.

I have both an uncle and a cousin named Mark though, so I wouldn't use that. :p

Can you imagine that scenario....."Mom, Dad, I know that you told me not to pick a crazy name, but I love Dragonball so much that I just had to name our son from the show, meet your new grandson..... Mark!"

Let's see... perhaps Gohan, since Johan is a much used name here =P
And like others said, Mark and Marron! Gregory too (but who'd wanna call his child Gregory?)
Or Angela, the name of the girl Gohan dated one time. Erasa could probably work too.

In the most recent Super Exciting Guide, Toriyama was asked about Mister Satan's real name. He notes that Mister Satan is just the character's stage name, and that his real name is Mark (マーク; maaku). The name is a pun on Akuma, which is Japanese for devil.

I would not name any kid after a DB character since most of them are puns for food. If I kids then I have them check out the series when they are around six or seven years old maybe.
