Sounds good to me.

In what way? XD I get the feeling involving another person would be ultimately more helpful (though it's up to Generation2, of course. ^_^ ).
Finding music, maybe writing a song for this, I don't know.

I have some people that may want to audition for characters, what should I tell them to do? How to contact you, what to say etc.

Again, let's try to focus on the intro first before we jump into the ocean.

I agree- we need to take this one step at a time.

Working on the color pallet for Xicor, does this look about right?

The color work looks fantastic. Red eye-rings like a Super Saiyan 4, eh? Neat.

Goku's character sheet: turn around - W.I.P. I should be drawing commissions but I took a break because I really wanted to draw this... Shhh, don't tell anyone I'm drawing DBAF stuff! Again, I'm still trying to get use to GT style. Damn you cartoon illustrations! You have influenced too far!

Image

I'm going to finish the pencils, fix some things (like Goku's back and eyes) and then give it a nice digital ink and colors. I've tried to draw Goku AF from memory without copying. It's important to know if I can draw the characters from all angles without refences ( at least not most of the time). I went with the classic DBZ stance. You know, the one where they stand all badass and very still.

I think I got most of Goku's costume down. I'm going to read the manga again to double check for any errors. I'm also simplifying the character sheets. Too much detail on a character will be a pain to animate.

EDIT: Before I forget, thanks macho_man for character GT references!

Nice work Scarz! Though I believe the...arm band? is on the right arm.

Here's Goku in his Super Saiyajin 4 state

I caught that right after I scanned it. Thanks for pointing that out though.

Huh, I'm kinda surprised a huge project like this is getting off the ground. I'd love to help out, but you seem to already have the music covered. Guess I'll hold out for voice acting when you start casting!

Okay guys...I'm probably jumping the gun here, but I've got a few ideas to run by for the Ending theme.

What would you like the mood of it to be?

Would you like it

1) More "Romantic" ala the Dragon Ball ending
2) Actiony/Rockish ala the DBKai ending
3) Jazzy ala most of the Bleach Endings

Or, this is what I was thinking. Since generation wanted to do something with chibi's, we could have a chibi-centric ending using a theme like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eP9pIJlclzk
It could just be some good-ol' fashion chibi fun. I've thought out how the whole thing would go, mostly. And I was thinking we could ask MsDBZBabe on Youtube to help out if she wanted.

...assuming we have an ending theme, of course.

Didn't Generation2 say he had something he'd been working on that he was thinking of using for the ending?
But if not... I don't have much of an opinion either way. The chibi idea sounds fun! :D

I think I want to try and come up with a song this weekend... not sure what for (more general, I suppose, since the animation is the big thing now), just to try and establish a 'theme' of sorts / see if it works...

At Generation2: You said you have a band, right? What sorts of instruments do you have (so we can figure out what to prepare for)? :)

I have a busy weekend ahead of me but next week I'm free for a couple a days. I'll finish up the Goku turn around and work on Xicor and Lila's character sheets by then.

Heya~.

I recorded some "rough draft" songs over the weekend. The idea was stuff that would require minimal editting, so certainly not masterpieces by any means.
I've more to add, but first I need to decide how to upload them...
My choices are basically youtube, rapidshare (I think...) and my own website. If I put them on my own space, though, I can't direct link, so would need to make a links page for everything.
The latter is probably more organized, though I've found that I have trouble downloading audio from my site from certain places...
Ur, and I went and made video versions of most of them before I realized I might not need to...
So does anyone have a preference? (I seem to remember Big Momma having issues with youtube? Or was that ConanTheSSJ? Or... ur... both? *confused* ).
