Like I said before, I'm going to give this a fair shot.
And was it already known that they are going to use the Jump Special cover as their first Kai cover? News to me.

Whoa, exciting~ I really enjoyed that trailer. Actually gave me goosebumps...! It's only a small sampling, sure, but...looking great so far!
Also, I think I'm liking Vegeta's apparently, er, milder, voice.

It's not the Jump Special cover. They're extremely similar, but it is the Kai version of that art, not the Jump Special version.

I fucking love you?

Well it looks like Sabat wasn't lying, it looks very impressive! It will take me some time to get used to the new Gohan, but Krillin sounded fantastic. Although there isn't enough material to pass on a final judgement, the trailer has really got me pumped for the releases.

Can't wait for the blu-rays :).

I'm also curious about how the narrator will sound...

A question: will the Japanese score be kept? DragonBall in the US still seems to be advertised as badass to me with the hardcore rock, but surely they wouldn't take a huge risk like that? Or is it still unknown? (I'm either curious or I'm stupid).

They're using the original score.

Part of their changing the music in the first place is because they thought the score was outdated. A score from one year ago (that has some electric guitar in it) isn't outdated. Another part of it is due to Barry Watson, who isn't at FUNimation anymore.

Yeah, awesome trailer, since I'm not from U.S. and Canada, I can't watch that...... God damn, this really pisses me off, buying US stuff but I'm forbidden from Z-store also only because of location.....

It's quite discriminating this rule, it's also on VEOH, HULU etc. I can't even watch one god damn episode of Clone Wars legally, because I'm forbidden by the same rule from Star Wars and Cartoon Network sites.

The original Kai score obviously, since it's, well, you know... Kai.

And part of it is because making their own score was cost-efficient as it allowed them to "charge money every time it was played." Glad to see they've grown a soul since then.

It would be funny if Funimation decided to use the Kikuchi score for Dragon Ball Kai. Just inserted in there.

An almost guarateed buy from me.

Awhile back I saw a YouTube video once where someone put the Kikuchi score to Kai. It was pretty cool. I would've liked it if it sounded that way as my main problem with DBZ is the filler and what I like the most about DBZ is the music.

Yep, those guys are officially gay. We can't watch trailers for products we're willing to buy... that's plain... retarded. :?
I've even sent them an angry e-mail once and they replied within a couple of weeks saying it wasn't their fault...
Well, it's not. They're legally not allowed to advertise their products outside of the regions they have the rights to. There's nothing they can do about it.

... Are you saying there's a way for them to increase (or decrease) the music's potential from the Japanese version, despite it being identical? :?

In a way, I hope they dub Saiyan Blood and Tokusentai (for hilarity) but at the same time I hope that they keep far away from dubbing any insert songs (for quality).

But.. are any of the lines from this in the Japanese version?

I wasn't too impressed. First of all I had to get it from megaupload, since apparently Funi doesn't advertise products it releases here in Australia. Then we get that boomy sound that's so overused in trailers with some text I couldn't care to read. Finally it starts playing and... It's Z. I own that shit man. Aint buying.
