Well, the big difference is that the Blu-ray release is HD, and the DVD release is not. The packaging and content are otherwise the same, aside from the Blu-ray box being a bit shorter.LeprikanGT wrote:Serious question though: Can someone explain the difference in the DVD and BR releases? Like will the boxes and all that look the same and just different discs or.....?
I've got EVERYTHING Funi has put out on DVD and not sure I'm ready to switch over to Bluray if there isn't a difference.

Forgive me if this has been answered.
Are both the Funi Dvd and Blu-ray releases in the uncropped 4:3?
Or is one in 16:9 (dvd) and one in 4:3 (blu-ray) like the Japanese release?

I believe it's been confirmed that both FUNimation's Blu-rays and DVDs will be 4:3.

The blockage must be a British thing, 'cause as an Australian, the site loads fine for me.

I can't see it either and I'm not British.SaiyamanMS wrote:The blockage must be a British thing, 'cause as an Australian, the site loads fine for me.

EDIT: Pretty strange. Now I can see the site.

Uh-huh I suppose it's not much for now but hopefully they'll add to it as the series progresses.Kendamu wrote:That's what I said on the first page. It's a bunch'a stuff you've already seen crammed onto one page.

That's what I also said before. I'm hoping it'll eventually have more content like Toei's Kai page does.LilKokuLink wrote:Uh-huh I suppose it's not much for now but hopefully they'll add to it as the series progresses.Kendamu wrote:That's what I said on the first page. Yep. It's 100% positive that both the DVD and Blu Ray are both in uncropped 4:3.dan2026 wrote:Forgive me if this has been answered.

i dont know how its with mexico or england but over germany its possible to see the z kai site ...
the z kai site is the only working site from funimation in germany ^^
i wonder why its not possible over england and mexico !?
The word "KAI" means in the old North Germanic language Frisian "Kämpfer engl. Fighter" respectively "Krieger engl. Warrior"!

Perhaps the blockage is due to the soon-to-be-introduced TV Section of the site; they wouldn't want people form outside the country watching the Dubbed show...
Re: FUNimation's "DragonBall Z Kai" Website Goes Live
That will likely only be a schedule page for where the show can be seen and when, if anything.zeldarocks wrote:Perhaps the blockage is due to the soon-to-be-introduced TV Section of the site; they wouldn't want people form outside the country watching the Dubbed show...

I thought we were past dubbed names, I'd like to know what's up with that?
Regardless of what everyone's (USED) to, why not use the accurate names for once?
I hope the site get's a revision..just thought we're past the dubbed names.
