Which is kinda a weird choice, but I guess they chose that one because Goku and Vegeta teaming up in movie 6.

I would love to watch movie 9 on the big screen. The colours and general atmosphere would benefit greatly by it.

Either Movie 5, 6, or 8. I remember once reading back in 2000 that they where planning on releaseing Movie 4-5 in cinemas back in 2001 or 2002.

Not really. The Harry Potter films are all one-continuous story. The Dragon Ball films don't have any continuity between each other. They're all their own, individual, story.
Yeah, I see your point. The only Dragon Ball movies that seem to have the slightest continuity are the Coola and Broli films.

To be honest, none of them. They're all too short for me to shell out theater cash for, except for movie 8, while movie 8 isn't one I'd pay to see in theaters.

But to be fair, had they played at the Fantasia Film Festival when they were re-released on DVD and Blu-Ray, I may very well have gone to see any and all of them, especially movies 12 and the 10-year DB anniversary special.
