Perhaps your ripper applied noise reduction. It's obvious, especially in the water and sky, where it looks smudged and there is no grain. Of course, the way you actually put them together looks great though.

Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed.

Ah, that is probably the smudge tool.

For example, the shot with Piccolo in the Desert. The frame to the furthest left had clearly a very different tone than the one to the furthest right. And I had to use them because there are no others frames in the same position.

Left:

Right:

If you just put them together you get this:

See how noticeable the differences are? Now, I don`t want to start using filters or color corrections. That`s why I use the smudge tool to make it flow together on those areas.

Most of the edges of the frames were in the water or in the shy, so It`s only natural. As for the ripper applying noise reduction... It probably did. However, besides the places where I had to smudge, I honestly don`t see a lack of detail.

No, it's not that. The images themselves look really blurry and stuff like cliffs and grass have this ugly smear effect and look like they were painted with water colors.

Hm, maybe the ripping process did that then.

Well, that took the fun out of it

Man, there are so many cool pans now. :D

I only noticed that I was saving snap shots as jpegs instead of pngs, so I'll probably redo a few of the worst looking pans.

Yeah, that`s a good idea. PNG has better quality.

I´m kinda "sad" that you guys think that my pan shots lack detail and are blurred, though. I still think they look good, but now I kinda lost the mood to do more . But I will do more eventually. I still have fun doing it.

Hey, man. No worries. Some of your pans were my favorites, by far. I do notice what some of the others are talking about, in terms of the missing detail/smeared-looking images. However, I really appreciate your hard work; I've been saving every one of yours. Keep 'em coming!

It's getting incredibly difficult for me now, it looks like my DVD drive is on the way out and my mouse is too, but I'll have a new computer soon enough, and hopefully an optical mouse.

That's a good idea, I should start saving these images myself.
