Anyway, how are they packaging it? Is it like a season set that folds out, being twice as long? Or two season sets in one box?
Normally the purpose is to go after people like me who have neither and would be tempted to get one, but not two sets. However, the appeal is usually by offering a substancially lower price (ie: between 50% to 80%) of getting them together, so I have no idea what the fuck's going on here. It's clearly not a "Collector's Edition" set of some kind, so the price makes no sense to me. In fact, if stores discount the season sets in order to be able to sell this, I'm much more likely to go after those instead.
As for packaging a Z-season set, it may be like the Buffy: The Vampire Slayer complete series set and be a ton of slimcases containing the season sets' DVDs, making for a SMALL box (seriously, there are seven seasons in the Buffy set and its only the same size as two Z-bricks). But since two bricks side by side isn't that big, I think GT'll be the two seasons in a cardboard box.
...Still curious about the extra runtime, though.
