I feel the same way. I wasn't going to buy the orange bricks period, Dragon Box or not, just because I take so much offense to what they did to the video. But FUNi sort of backed themselves into a corner now with me when it comes to the other releases. Because now that I know that they have the potential to release the Dragon Boxes, I refuse to buy the blue and green bricks even though they're perfectly good releases. Normally the purpose is to go after people like me who have neither and would be tempted to get one, but not two sets. However, the appeal is usually by offering a substancially lower price (ie: between 50% to 80%) of getting them together, so I have no idea what the fuck's going on here. It's clearly not a "Collector's Edition" set of some kind, so the price makes no sense to me. In fact, if stores discount the season sets in order to be able to sell this, I'm much more likely to go after those instead.dragondyle wrote:Exactly.

I actually thought the same thing earlier: what the hell is the point of buying a set that retails for the same price as two separate sets combined, which now that they are rendered obsolete will likely get their prices significantly cut? It just looks like more of SSJ4 Goku's hair to me, and it's long enough to reach down to there. Plus, your thing about the Toei logo was pretty soundly debunked.
