Yeah, a lot of official artwork of SSj4 Goku has his hair hanging down that low. As for the FUNi logo on the front cover... Both my GT season sets have it in that exact same place, with no Toei logo in sight.

I surely hope that. What's next FUNimation's gonna make DB/DBZ Movies in one? NO FRICKIN WAY!!!

I refuse to tolerate. I'll stick to the DBZ Single bricks instead. And As for the DBGT Box set art, there's still no DBox GT yet....

Yeah, as much as I loved that cover art, it did have that "fake" feeling about it.

I don't like it! it's looks like a fan art! the placement of the picture also looks like a fan work!

Even if that's really what they're doing, it does look rather fake at some points (or, at best, placeholder-ish).

The image they used (if legit) is bad-ass. But god-fucking dammit FUNimation you bitch-slapped me in the face again. Would've been an instant purchase if I hadn't already gotten the separate season box sets of GT.

A pointless release.

I'll stick with the 5 orange bricks instead.

I don't see why people are getting so upset at FUNimation for this, they neither announced nor advertised this release as a Dragon Box release so they did not, in any way, mislead anyone to believe otherwise. In fact, it would be people here who decided that, with FUNimation now releasing the Dragon Box Z, they must release Dragon Ball and GT Dragon Boxes.

The simple fact is nobody is forcing anybody to buy anything so, while the release may be pointless for people who have picked up the individual season sets, it won't be pointless for people who haven't, provided a Dragon Box edition does eventually get produced and overshadow the release, but I digress.

What it all comes down to is FUNimation is a business, their objectives are to make money, not to specifically make each and every one of us happy. If they can make money with this release, more power to them, but as I've already got the season sets, I'll be holding onto my cash in the event that FUNimation surprises us and releases a GT Dragon Box.

Hasn't Funimation done the extraneous "Complete Series" releases with other shows before? Why all the rage now.

Anyway, I'm going to cut against the grain and say I'll pick this up. This looks like the nail in the coffin for any Dragon Box in the near future, and I've held off on the green bricks until now. So if nothing else, this would be a convenient buy for the right price.

Amazon.com has the listing up for "Dragon Ball Gt: Complete Series (10pc)" The peculiar part of it is that in the Product Details, It only gives Japanese for Language and English for Subtitles. There's no mention of English dub. Perhaps it suggests the Japanese language will be the default one. Hey, isn't there some release of DBZ currently coming out that does this??? :D

The description says "10 discs", so that's not very good.

What do you mean "not very good"? Do you think a Dragon Box of GT would require more discs? I can't see why it would, but then again, I don't know much about the R2 Dragon Box GT.

The Japanese Dragon Box had 12 discs.

The GT DBox has 12 discs (although Kanzentai says 26 on this page)
But the R1 version could go:
Disc 1: Episodes 1-7
Disc 2: Episodes 8-14
Disc 3: Episodes 15-21
Disc 4: Episodes 22-28
Disc 5: Episodes 29-35
Disc 6: Episodes 36-42
Disc 7: Episodes 43-49
Disc 8: Episodes 50-56
Disc 9: Episodes 57-63
Disc 10: Episodes 64 + TV Special

7 episodes per disc, like the Z boxes

True. This isn't a Dragon Box.

We've confirmed it -- it's just the green bricks slapped together.

Seriously, folks.

Oh crap, that's a typo. I'll be sure to fix that ASAP. Although if you actually go into the GT Dragon Box page, it does say there are 12 discs.
