What do you watch DB/Z/GT/Kai on?

Having to share a single household TV with 3 other people and being somewhere between my youngest sister and the dogs on the "authority and privilege ladder"... I typically end up watching my own DVDs on my laptop. As I also do for streaming Kai from Japan each Saturday night.

On rare occasions when I DO get to use the TV and aren't using it for gaming, I might pop in a DVD while I'm working on something else. I've also been DVR'ing Kai this past week with the advent of Ayres-Freeza and watching the episodes whenever I can; something I'll hopefully be able to continue for as long as Nicktoons airs new episodes.

I watch Kai on TV, and not a very big one at that. But I've been watching DBGT on the PS3 on my brother's bigger plasma screen TV. It's so much easier to watch on it!

I watch the series on the TV in my family room, which is usually used only by me and my sister. It's one of four TVs in my house, so I don't have to worry about sharing it with anybody except her (though she is usually on her laptop anyway).

It's a 32" or 36"...I think. It's an alright TV, although there is a little blue spot in the upper-left corner and an even smaller green one in the upper-right corner. The video output is also starting to go. If the video cord isn't placed in just right, the video will cut out.

Other than that, my Dragon Ball viewing device(?) is pretty good. Oh, and I also use a standard DVD player. I can use my PS2, but I hardly ever use it anymore....

I pretty much do everything on my 20" TV in my room.

I do everything else (Mostly steaming Japanese TV) on my Laptop.

I live with my friend in an apartment, and I watch Dragon Ball on an old 32" Tube Television that you have to hit to get the picture to come up and "VIDEO" is stuck in the bottom right hand corner because the TVs remote has long since been gone since we got it.

Mostly on VLC, but sometimes I'll want to go into our house's main room and watch DB on the plasma there.

To anyone watching the Dragon Boxes on a HDTV. Does anyone use Noise Reduction at all to get rid of some of the grain or do you leave it off?

Generally my 14 inch laptop screen, the TVs are just about always in use here. :\

Which basically consists of a 26' LCD HD Samsung TV and a PS2 hooked to it.

Grain is part of the image. Why would I want to remove something that's part of the image? That'd be like cropping off heads and feet to "fit" it to 16:9...!

For now, until I can afford a Widescreen HDTV, it's my 17" laptop screen. But I am going to buy a 24" computer monitor from a friend of mine soon, and my experience of the show will hopefully get better.

I watch it on a 42" LCD.. through either my PS3 or 360... usually PS3.

Well for anything but Kai I watch it on my 32" LCD HDTV using my PS3.

When I'm at the dorm, on my 19" LCD, via my PS2.

When I'm at home, on my laptop if someone else is using the nice big LCD (what's the size? hm), or on the nice big TV (through a regular DVD player) if no one cares. (Which is usually just when I'm alone, though sometimes I can harangue my brother into watching DBZ with me instead of whatever else he was watching...)

Also, on occasion I watch Kai via the Nicktoons website since I don't get that channel.

Most of everything I watch is on a large Olevia LCD flatscreen TV, either via a Panasonic DVD-S53 up-scaling DVD player or directly from my computer’s video card through an HDMI cable (play’s everything beautifully on the TV). Other stuff that I want to watch on-the-go or in portable situations I usually watch on a portable DVD player, but more often on a little netbook (ripped DVD’s or video files when applicable). Used to watch Kai weekly on my Zune, but now it’s usually the netbook.

Anyway...I don't really watch DB/Z/GT/Kai, since I don't own any of the boxsets, Dragon Boxes and what have you. I read the manga instead. My Dragon Ball viewing experience is limited to occasionally watching DBZ on YouTube or watching it on my friend's laptop.

Due to the fact that all of the TVs in my house are either really small, have terrible callibration, or my father sitting on the couch watching it all the time, I usually just pop the DVDs into my laptop and watch away. It has a surprisingly good screen, and it's pretty high quality too. I dream of the day when I have enough cash to buy something better.

I play it upscaled on my PS3 on a 720p TV, but I tend to not use noise reduction or anything. While it takes away grain on the DBox, the main reason I don't use anything like that is because on some animation from the same era (such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) it'll actually cut the framerate a bit and make things somewhat "choppy."
