Now that we have the Dragon Box, what to do the older DVD's?

Post by pjay » Thu Jul 01, 2010 7:35 pm

Now that we have the Dragon Box's what should we do with our corresponding old single DVDs besides selling them or giving them away? For instance I'm watching mine now and I can't believe how bad the interlacing and encoding is.

If you don't want to sell them you could borrow them away to people who are interested in the series but don't want to spend the cash on buying an entire season when they don't know if they like it yet.

Or send them to Dayspring who doesn't want to spend the cash on buying an entire anime season when he already has the manga, which he prefers.

You could always find creative ways to destroy them and put them on YouTube.

You should find creative ways of destroying each disc and use each video to advertise the DragonBox. Haha!

That actually sounds like it would have made some killer viral marketing.

I have all the singles. I'll keep them as relics of the past!

They're no longer necessary with the DBox releases.

I don't know what to do with my singles. I guess I could try to sell them somewhere once I get their corresponding DBoxes, but I dunno.
On hiatus.

Send them to people you dislike.

I am currently collecting them, but I have no money left. I wouldn't give them away though, people will pay for them.

They were pretty expense when the first came out, but now they're dirt cheap. Problem is, the video quality on them is shit.

I would sell my Season sets on ebay or something since I'm getting the Dragon Boxes now....but I don't know anything on shipping items....cuz I've never done it before. I guess I'll try craigslist. I'm selling them for $150. For the whole series and the Bardock Father Of Goku/History Of Trunks Double Feature DVD, I think that's a fair price.

Yeah, it would've been around that price.
