Indeed, by the end I felt like I was watching a marathon of Dragon ball Z the anime.

Hmm, I would actually find that much more enjoyable. Different strokes for different blokes, I guess.

I'd somewhat agree, as long as it's not the the Freeza fight atleast.

Android 18 didn't exist yet in the Saiya-jin and Namek Arc nor the Trunks Arc.

Movie 11 is absolutely terrible. Having Trunks and Goten in it is automatic fail, since I hate those two. Satan's rival was nothing but an annoying little fat punk. The village idiot from the previous Broly movie was in it. One of my favorite Z-villains is turned into a shadow of his former-self. Its only redeeming qualities are the inclusion of No.18 , and when Krillin shows up. I don't know why I still watch it, but I do.

Oh, and Avatar is the best movie I've ever seen in my entire life. I don't know how anyone can hate it, but whatever.

Actually, I liked that they brought back Mr. Obatchama Jatchama! He was awesome! Too bad they killed him off, though...

And speaking of "normals" getting killed, this movie did have a couple of pretty chilling death scenes; in particular where the scientists trapped in the elevator get oozed. That was actually kinda creepy.

I already saw it back in 1995.

Oh? Back when it was called Pocahontas?

But, yeah. Elevator death. Pretty creepy, huh?

Avatar is a OMGWTFBBQRAMBOINDIANZFTW version of Pocahontas, just like Dragonball is a OMGWTFBBQKUNGFUFIGHTINGFTW version of Journey to the West.

Well, since I am an uber Gote fan, I will say that I loved how it was the single drragonball movie Goten got to shine in, especially when he appeared to be even with Broly until (another unique thing about this film, someone actually moans that they're in pain) his shoulder hurts. Now, neither Goku nor Gohan could do that when Broly wasn't quite so strong, so this is the last bit of amazing potential we see from Goten... ever. He sucked in GT and we didn't get to see him fight as a teen at the end of Z.
Another thing we learn about Gote is that he tends to pay a lot more attention to his surroundings than the others, i.e noticing Broly's tail, and realising that, after watching Hercule splash around in the water, Bio Broly solidified in liquid.

I also loved how 18 got to shine in this film, in the same way Videl did in the previous, and how Krillin had to save her again similiar to the Cell arc.
Trunks was hilarious babbling on about biotechnology and genetic engineering, not knowing what either was and Goten just taking what he said for granted.
Face it, it was brilliant because all the strong characters that were being ignored since the Cell saga got a chance to defeat somebody either Goku nor Gohan could entirely incierate. I like that the stars are completely different from all the other films, and it is the only one that may possibly fit into a timeline. Or rather, the closest, if it was set before the end of the Buu saga.
What I don't get though, is how the hell does that exiled priest (forgotten his name) know anything about Saiyans, and that Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan? He rants on about it, but the boys never once said in movie 10 that they were Super Saiyans.

Yeah, that's something I forgot to mention in my previous post. That's one hell of a freakin' plothole. At the same time, though, we can assume that he somehow did already know about Saiyans, but just didn't say anything about it in movie 10. My opinion? I don't think he knew, and it was the script writers trying to somehow make him more relevant to the story.

I think he was still incredibly boring, just an excuse for the creation of Bio Broly. Did he die? I can't remember.
I hope he did. I don't wanna see him i any new films, if any more are ever made, which is unlikely.

I think most people did not like it since it was pointless to clone Broly then make him even worst. And it was nothing original, and I wish Toei did something more original with the movie.

I just hate Bio-Broly because it turned the worst movie villain into...the worst movie villain, included redeeming comedic aspects (as well as an exceptional supporting cast), and didn't depend on the usual poorly contrived plot devices to beat the bad guy.

Oh, weight. :P

Original? It's the most unlike the other movies of the bunch.

It replaces Gohan, Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo with Goten, Trunks, #18, Krillin, and Mr. Satan (in his only major movie role). The other movies don't.

It ends without ridiculous Goku bullshit, a Genki Dama, or sudden transformations. The other movies don't.

It features a cheesy sci-fi monster instead of an ego-maniacal strongman. The other movies don't.

It has interesting fighting. The other movies after the first four or five don't.

It actually references previous movies. Most of the others don't.

Plus, elevator death.

^ Agreed. Other than the specials (and movie 13 to some extent), it was the most original.

I used to hate the Bio-Broly movie. Then I watched it again after maturing a bit, and payed more attention to it and actually enjoyed it. I agree with most people here, focus more on other characters, although I could do without Goten and Trunk's antics (I absolute hate that and hate them as characters). You get more background from Mr. Satan with a few new antagonists to boot. You get to see Broly actually using more wrestling moves, because yeah, for those of you who say that Broly just runs around and hits like a retard, you're wrong, he fights with wrestling moves.

As for Avatar, yup, it's pretty much Pocahontas, except with more drama, depression and wrong. I actually made the effort to watch on an IMAX cinema, and regretted it. Got out of there with a headache, sore bum and depressed. There was a woman crying next to me whilst watching the movie. Honestly, I thought the plot was absolute poo. And the 3D was a complete scam. Nothing felt 3D to me at all. The whole scenery and world in general was awesome though.
