So ... back on the thread proper, I still strongly suggest someone take a look at GT episode 58, and soak in how abysmal it is in both animation and art, especially for that point in the series.

Moves like shit; looks like shit. And extremely noticeable shit when it's surrounded by gorgeous episodes.

I don't remember a certain episode that looked awful consistently from start to finish. Although there are certain arcs which strike me as being pretty bad in that department upon recollection. The Garlic Jr. Arc was one, but that's understandable being a filler and all. The portion of the Artificial Human Arc where USSJ Vegeta and Trunks fight Cell had its ugly sides as well... since the form was so deformed it really brought out the worst in some animators. The same issue was present when Garlic Jr's. henchmen bulked up, it just looked downright ridiculous.

Absolutely none of the Garlic Jr. material qualifies for worst in the series.

There's some pretty triangular and ridiculous art from Studio Live in there, but all of it is fairly well animated. There's worse art and worse looking movement all over the series.

Anyone looking at any episode not done by latter day Last House needs to stop immediately. That is where all of the worst material is, bar none. And GT episode 58 is one of the worst offenders, all though there might be some other ones hiding in the Buu arc and late Cell arc that I just haven't seen in a while. No one is on model, the lines are thick for no reason, there's no detail, and the frame rate drops low even by anime standards. Even when they're triangular as hell, Studio Live's episodes never take a considerable dip in animation. Last House, folks.
