I spend a good amount of time on Dragon Ball per day. And...I really enjoy it!
Firstly, I am on this website throughout the day, checking posts, threads etc. Also, I occasionally play a little Raging Blast. At night, or when I am free, I watch my Dragon Boxes(currently on box 3, since yesterday). Then, you can count all the time I spend crying because I can't afford to buy all of the Steel case movies, HSCF figures, season sets etc. Lol, that was a joke, but I do spend a bit of time surfing around online for good deals for those items.
I think that's it.

I don't want the series that much anymore (waiting for Kai), but I spend a lot of time of these forums, as well as other Dragon Ball forums and sites. So yeah, a lot.

Currently I'm rereading the manga and watching the corresponding anime episodes. I haven't seen much of the anime TV series before so this is, for the most part, my first time seeing it. And whenever I'm on my computer I come here and some other DB-related sites.
So at least half an hour a day or something. I don't know.

Too much, and yet not enough.

Mostly, I just devote a large percentage of my time to this forum and personal projects, and for the latter, I'm always lamenting that there's not enough time to do everything I want on top of my other interests and responsibilities. But there are always things on my mind and my to-do list even if I'm not actively working on it. I can't remember the last time I kept all 42 manga volumes on their shelf, because there's always been at least one on my desk for the past eight years or so.

Since it's summer and I'm just taking a couple of classes to fill out the rest of my gen eds (read: I'm a bum with no real summer job, not that I didn't put in some real halfhearted effort by offering to do some work for the university!) I've had tons of spare time, and with that I've enjoyed a resurgence of DB-related activity that scares me if I think about it too much (well, considering that I spent the two or three years before this more or less forgetting it existed).

Oddly, very little of this time is actually spent watching DB/Z/Kai (though I am collecting the Boxes and will probably collect Kai too, and keep meaning to watch through all the stuff I have). Mostly I've been sucked back into the world of fanfiction, so I spend probably equal parts reading and writing it daily, maybe anywhere between two and six hours total depending on how productive I'm being with my writing. Then I also work on fanart pretty much daily, and have clocked anywhere between zero and eight (really!!) hours on that pursuit in a day, averaging I guess around two or three though. And there's my time on these forums -- mostly quickly checking in to see what's going on, but I'd guess that given my "go through and check each of my five most important pages when I've run out of things to do on one site" routine about an hour a day is a safe bet.
Soooo I'd guess that on the average day I spend about 6-7 hours on DB, because it's the summer and I'm a bum. (Still technically less than half my waking hours though!)

Now when the fall semester starts back up, I'll be lucky to manage a half-hour each day. That's why I'm doing all this while I can...haha.

Not as much time that I devote to comics and hentai but just close enough.

Like maybe half an hour.

Honestly, I could care less about DB nowadays. I watch DBK on Nicktoons, and that's probably about it.

I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it depends. There are days that I can entirely devote to DB.
Otherwise, the minimum would be about half an hour a week, because I usually watch Kai every Sunday.
Although even if I do don't do anything DragonBall related, I tend to think about it very often during the day, so... yeah, I'm still pretty much preoccupied with it, I guess. But I like that. :)

I don't devote as much time as I used to, simply because I've seen everything Dragon Ball about 20+ times. I only pop up here about once or twice a week or so. This is because the Dragon Ball exclusive theme of these forums can get uneventful or boring. People are talking about the same thing for days on end sometimes.
I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time, everything is 3D blasphemy.
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up, this is not the way I picture me.
I can't control my shakes, how the hell did I get here? Something about this, so very wrong.
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this. Is it a dream or a memory?

I don't really track the time I spend relating to Dragon Ball. My activities concerning Dragon Ball tend to drop in and out on occasions. Whenever I'm on the internet at home, I pop in on this forum, maybe browse, post, spend maybe an hour or so before going to do something else. And I'm normally on the computer at home 2-3 times a week.

Other than that, I don't read Dragon Ball manga that much. I used to a while ago, when I had nothing else to read and I was really into Dragon Ball, but now I've read them so many times these days I only rarely take them out just to check something or for a leisurely browse through the pages before bed. And then there's the other times I just randomly do something Dragon Ball-esque, whether it be performing a Kamehameha in front of a mirror or "powering-up" before doing a run in P.E. (Yeah, I'm that sad).

All in all, I'd say that I devote more time to Dragon Ball than the average Dragon Ball fan, although I still think I could do more. I could read the manga more on a daily basis. I could buy some more of Viz's original Dragon Ball manga rather than only having 8 volumes sitting on my shelf. I could buy the DVDs on Amazon and actually watch Dragon Ball in full for once rather than casually watching snippets of the series on YouTube. I could get out and go to a martial arts club, because I think it would be pretty cool, but don't because I'm not the kind of person that goes to clubs like that.

I hold a great deal of respect and admiration for those people who amass enormous Dragon Ball collection or spend their times creating fansites, because I admire the fact that they can be so devoted to these series for so long and not look back and think, "Wow, that was stupid." Plus, it makes me feel better about myself when I think that I'm too obsessed about Dragon Ball.

I hope that wasn't the conversation with me. >_> The last PM I sent you was kind of dumb, eheh...

I don't ever do much with Dragon Ball besides read the forums, but I do plan on finishing Dragon Ball GT eventually. I watched a few more episodes a couple of weeks ago, caught up to 22 or so, and I've enjoyed the show a lot. Otherwise I don't think there's much I care about besides watching the Jump Special at some point.

Kunzait_83 wrote: For me it entirely depends on whether or not I'm feeling like watching the anime, reading the manga, or playing one of the video game. I go long stretches without doing any of the above, and then there'll be sudden spurts where I'll marathon a bunch of eps, plow through a few volumes, or beat the crap out of someone in one of the games. It waxes and wanes, but I always inevitably wind up back at the DB trough at some point or another like clockwork. I've long, long, long ago made peace with the fact that it's an on and off obsession that will probably never be going anywhere within the foreseeable future, if ever.
Exactly this for myself as well.

I suppose finally attempting to de-lurk in fandom after all these years isn't going to help the obsession, either. Not that I'm complaining. :D
