So Famitsu says DB DS 2 did 19k first week. Media Create has DB DS's first week at 72k. Huge drop.

So... about the NES game...

Is it available from the beginning, or do you have to beat the game to unlock it?

Amazon.co.uk, GAME and Play.com have listings for the game now and they say the release date is 02/07/10 for the UK/Europe. Haven't seen any official announcements yet, but it seems like a safe bet.

Really? When I played the demo, it sounded a hell of a lot like Stephanie's Goku.

Sooo... Thread's been a little dead for... a few weeks, hopefully it isn't quite long enough to qualify a necro-post, but we're still on the first page of topics and it's not like there's any other Origins 2 thread.

I got the game the other day. LOVING the button controls, it makes it so much less painful that the first game. (And I mean that in the most literal sense. The first Origins game damn near killed my wrists. They clearly did not design that game for left handed people. :| )

I've made it upto Muscle Tower so far and... Major Metallitron keeps killing me. I came CLOSE one time, but not quite. Still, having a blast so far. If only I could kill that damn robot! :P

It's weird they never have the dual language option on DS games.... is there any technical reasons they can't, or do they just decide not to?

Well, I'm not entirely sure how much room there is on a DS cartridge, although it's definitely a lot less than those fancy console games we've been getting for a while now. I'm guessing that there simply isn't room to fit dialogue in both languages?

That's what I thought, but surely the game can't take up as much memory as some of those big open world RPGs like Dragon Quest IX and stuff?

... After playing as Arale, I have one demand for Namco Bandai. Dr. Slump Origins. Do it.

EDIT: ... Also, I realise that this is my 500th post. After 6 years, I finally qualify as a "Regular"!

I think it's great that finally it's possible to use the D-Pad for control. The touch-pad movement just wasn't for me.
