Appears being the key word, I too have issues with Sean's Goku, about as much as I do with Sabat's Vegeta. They're both uneven, with Sabat having a slight edge in the acting department. But then that may be because Sabat is voicing two of the
most developed characters in Dragon Ball so he has a unfair advantage.
Which is why I get confused when Sabat's gravelly Vegeta warms up to penguintruth, but Schemmel gets criticized for the same sort of qualities?

Exactly my point, why is it only "fairly decent" instead of, at the very least, "good"? What is Sean doing with Nail currently that only makes it fairly decent?
Again, I have no real stake in whether people like this dub or not, but when it seems like a vendetta against someone. Instead of just debating about acting and deliveries etc, it just gets on my nerves sometimes. It's just as bad as dubbies popping in to a debate trying to convince us that horrid shit of a DBZ dub is any good. When we're trying to discuss a higher quality dub, just try to leave nostalgia and/or personal bias at the door please.

You don't think Schemmel's current Goku is better than Kirby's Morrow's Goku?
I don't know. I thought that Kirby Morrow's Goku sounds a little too collected and smooth. Like he's way too tranquil to be Goku. Kirby Morrow is a very talented VA, but it's always jarring to hear him as Goku. Maybe I'm just so used to him as Van Flanel, Trowa Barton, and Miroku.
100% agreed with you here, Morrow may he been at least pleasant to listen too compared to Kelemis. But his voice was just completely wrong at all times for Son Goku compared to every other English Goku, way too mellow.

What's the point of a discussion board if we're not allowed to have them? I thought the discussion was going just fine until a few of you started to chime in with your opinions on our conversation. I think that gets old, too. If it was seriously out of hand, then I'd understand. Otherwise, bite me. Whatever happened to "freedom of speech", anyhow?
Well, back on topic... before we were so rudely interrupted:
A-fuckin-men.
