Believe me. It was.SylentEcho wrote:You're saying Sagas was worse than Taiketsu? Never!
And despite the flawed, broken nature of Ultimate Battle 22, I found it strangely addictive. I still came back time after time to build up my character in Build-Up Mode. That game was probably my first true taste of Dragon Ball, one of the factors that entered me into Dragon Ball fandom, which is probably why I can tolerate it a bit more than Final Bout and Legacy Of Goku.Thanos wrote:Ultimate Battle 22, Final Bout and DBZ CCG are, yes, horrendous and deserve to be killed with fire, however...

It seems to me you're talking about Hyper Dimension on the SNES, which is one helluva awesome game, good sir!ringworm128 wrote:I don't know the name of it. As for gameplay, it isn't that fun.
Excuse me while I go nerd RAEG in the corner. Why would you even...BobZ wrote:It's seems to me you're talking about Hyper Dimension on the SNESringworm128 wrote:I don't know the name of it. Those fights you could win by the way, you could just get away with losing too. Anyway the Story Mode didn't mean piss all in games back then, it was all about the fighting system. Hyper Dimension had an awesome one. You must of had a hard time figuring out all the cool shit you can do. Knocking your opponent into several different arenas, jumping into the background and jerking back into the foreground with an attack. A combo health/KI bar that accurately represented the fatigue the Z warriors go through after using attacks. It also had a huge variety of KI and physical attacks.
grumble grumble grumble darn kids get off my lawn

As usual, you and I are on the exact same page. Too bad Goku had to kill you, Daimaoh.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Are you kidding me!! The Tenkaichi series had great graphics, had good controls and coveys the fighting in Dragon Ball Z better than any other game to date. Tenkaichi 3 is the best Dragon Ball game to ever come out, Taiketsu being the worst (I actually own it).Snail wrote:Although aesthetically pleasing, in terms of gameplay, I hated the Tenkaichi Budokai series.

I can't believe this is on-topic.
Agreed. I'm cutting Taiketsu a bit of slack here, because it's on the Game Boy Advance. If Webfoot released it on the PS2, then it would be a different story.Sun-Wukong wrote:
From what little I've played of Taiketsu, I have to say that GT: Final Bout is worse. I didn't think Taiketsu was that bad either, it could have been worse anyway.
Don't worry Sagas buddy, I like the game too. It had a LOT of flaws yes but it has a lot of cool moments too.Sun-Wukong wrote:I actually liked Sagas... To each his own I suppose.

Thank you, someone else that see what I mean. It was a fun beat em' up and you could play as so many characters. You could play as Future Gohan with or without both arms, they beat Sparking METEOR to the punch by a few years with that.Blue wrote:Don't worry Sagas buddy, I like the game too.
