A name change for Mr. Satan in the Broadcast?

It's not like he was obligated to come up with a name. If he came up with a name, it's probably because he wanted to.

I wasn't aware of Earthbound, so there goes that idea. I'd be surprised if they actually used Mr. Satan itself.

But, I even brought up that it'll most likely be Hercule so I'm not expecting too much.

Hell, I wouldn't mind the prototypical Mr. Savage. Well, I'd still mind, but I've always thought it was leagues above the H-word in terms of getting the proper point across. Relatively similar to the original and gets across a pro-wrestler vibe. Of course, in a perfect world, his name wouldn't be censored at all, but I'd say it's the lesser of two evils.

I honestly don't see why "Mr. Saturn" being in Earthbound would affect it's usability by Funimation for Dragon Ball Z Kai. "Saturn" is a word. It is a planet. Putting a "Mr." in front of it suddenly makes it a problem?

Besides, Nintendo has clearly shown that outside of Japan, they'd rather completely ignore the Mother franchise outside of its appearances in Smash Bros. (Heck, apparently Lucas is the only playable character in Brawl who hasn't had his game released in English.)

He didn't pull him having a stage name out of his ass on the spot. Who's to say he had anything planned there, and didn't just give himself a little sticky note to come up with something before the next time they do a book?

He was explaining the pun behind the name "Mr. Satan," and then he added, "Incidentally, I don't think Mr. Satan is his real name, but actually a ring name." He didn't have someone with a gun to his head demanding he give some new information on Mr. Satan, he just mentioned it while talking about Mr. Satan.

Toriyama can't remember 90% of the series, why would he remember some single off fact he never put into it? He probably made that up on the spot, forgot about it, and read it before the making of the newer guide.
