New question, same episode. At 16:37 on the Nicktoons site, Frieza says this:

"The ___ Super Saiyan would be a most inopportune foe indeed. "

how many episodes were aired till now on nicktoons?
The word "KAI" means in the old North Germanic language Frisian "Kämpfer engl. Fighter" respectively "Krieger engl. Warrior"!

Nicktoons has aired 33 episodes so far. This week we're getting 34 & 35. After that I have no clue.

English dub:
"Oh, yes. I remember now. A gifted child; a genius."
"The scion of Katattsu - Brightest flame among the tribes of old".
"Imagine a maker of Dragon Balls reaching as far out into the cosmos as that."
Hmmm...in the mange he says "prodigy of the Dragon Clan" (Ryuuzoku no tensaiji). Does the anime really change that to "Dragon-type"?

When I'm up against Dragon-Types, I use Ice-Type attacks.

We'll probably have more episode titles coming in a few days, so y'all get to know if the dub will keep going or not...

This episode is not nearly as well-dubbed as the previous. Vegeta, Ginyu, Kuririn, and Gohan all sound pretty good, but Schemmel's Goku is worse than ever, sounding like this was season 3 of DBZ's dub and Jeice is still terrible.

It's likely Jeice will only sound like this for the TV Dub (i.e. Aussie accent). I think that he'll sound fine on the home release, so I'll give you that. Goku sounded fine to me I didn't think he sounded like Season 3 Goku. Have we forgotten how bad Schemmel sounded as Goku in Season 3? Let me refresh everyone's memory by providing a video via Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOACeDEE8vU that is Season 3 Goku not what we're hearing in Kai.

I thought that too. For a minute I honestly thought they just left in Schemmel's old season 3 recordings.
Good thing Jheese is dead now so we don't have to here his stupid voice anymore. :P
A Dragon Ball/Urusei Yatsura crossover would be awesome.
Having Toshio Furukawa balance between Piccolo and Ataru would be hilarious.

I really must be hearing something different from the 2 of you then because I thought Schemmel was fine as Goku.

Yeah, seriously. I'm watching the Season 3 version of this episodes and it's like night and day. Just because he's using something beyond "SUPER HAPPY FUN TIME" doesn't mean it's bad.

Agreed even a blind person can tell the difference between 1999 Schemmel Goku & 2010 Schemmel Goku.

And even a deaf person could hear that there was little difference in his performance in that clip and his crappier than usual performance in tonight's episode.

Isn't hyperbole fun?

Well, blind people tend to have better hearing than most. But, enough of being a smartass.

Yeah, I when I was watching the Dragon Box with my cousin and brother. We were watching it dubbed; since they wouldn't want to watch it in Japanese at leas my little brother. At least they love the Japanese BGM though, which is good.

One of my other brother's friends was there and he used to watch DBZ way back when. His words were "I don't remember Goku sounding like that much of a bitch".

Plus, it bothered me how bad his '99 Goku sounds. It's surprising when you're older and listen to the acting of a show you used to watch with the acting from then.

Just because Sean sounds nothing Nozawa doesn't mean he's terrible. Like I've told you before Sean has been and always will be Goku in English since 1999, and he has improved since then. I'm not trying to be a smartass, but if it comes off as that I'm sorry, but I hate it when people criticize Sean's Goku in Kai.
