I was reading through the thread and I was kinda surprised that no one mention the scene in DBZ where Freeza stabs Krillin and tortures him, I was watching this on my DBOX 2 yesterday and honestly the scene still to this day actually not only gives me chills but upsets me( plus the score is fantastic).
Oh one more I almost forgot to mention Trunk's SSJ transformation scene in the second TV special always gets me if only because Takeshi Kusao's awesome performance.

I got chills from watching that scene in Funimation's dub. Truth to be told it was chills of fear.
Seriously, I didn't like it.
You were scared by that?
It was a joke.
And the serious part came after "Seriously".

I love/hate this scene. One of my favorite characters is being stabbed through the chest for God Sakes! Still, I can't help but love it when the seiyuu's themselves (Nakao, Tanaka, Nozawa and Horikawa) are at their best in this scene accompanied by a haunting orchestrated piece that brings shivers up my spine.
A Dragon Ball/Urusei Yatsura crossover would be awesome.
Having Toshio Furukawa balance between Piccolo and Ataru would be hilarious.

Yeah I know what you mean the first time I saw that scene in japanese I was blown away by the both the voice acting and the music. Much better then listening to Linda Young's " Ride em cowboy" with dub music in the background.

Not to mention that the dub music for that scene was just an ambient track...
"Kenshi is sitting down right now drawing his mutated spaghetti monsters thinking he's the shit..."--Neptune Kai
"90% of you here don't even know what you're talking about (there are a few that do). But the things you say about these releases are nonsense and just plain dumb. Like you Metalwario64"--final_flash

Even listening to it with the english dub/japanese music it still sounds very off and makes you wonder what could have been...
