Badman SS3 Vegeta = yes.
You wouldn't be able to see the 'Badman' because of the SS3 hair.

I guess I could roundabout see why people would want base Gogeta and characters to have costumes at different points in the show, but Ultimate Gohan is a MAIN character than fought a MAIN villain; it's inexcusable to skip him if they are going to cover that saga AND need him for a villain's form.

It's actually quite humorous that a series which prides itself on 'a shit ton of characters' is missing the strongest main character in the series. (Except for Vegetto of course)

I still dont think that Ultimate Gohan or Majin Vegeta should be seperate characters. Yeah Gohan got stronger and Vegeta what? Became more evil? Thats no excuse. Same thing with Mirai Trunks, why have two of him when you could just have it where you could choose for him to have the sword or not before the damn battle? Also I hope that Gohan and Gogeta have more moves in their arsenal, they are both so boring to play as and they need to SLOW DOWN on the Soul Punisher for Gogeta, the move loses all epicness because its too fucking fast.

With Gohan, it was different that just a power-up so I can definitely see why he would be seperate, because he doesn't TRANSFORM into Ultimate Gohan, once he became Ultimate, he was that for good.

Majin Vegeta's transformation was involuntry [to an extent] and once he was Majin, there was no going back as well so I see why he is a character all his once; I just don't under stand why he is so weak in the games.

Yeah but he is still Gohan both mentally and physically(with a few facial changes), he still fights the same too. Vegeta was never knocked unconscious or he never chose to revert back to base form so we dont know if he has to be SSJ2 forever. If being a permanent Super Saiyan wasnt what you were talking about then the Majin upgrade also could be an item exclusive to Vegeta like Goku had the Large and Super Genki Dama. They can do that with the Ultimate power up for Gohan aswell.

Every time I read "Raging Blast", I feel the urge to travel to the nearest Taco Bell and order a large reserve of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Nothing else will quench my virtually insatiable thirst!

Ultimate Gohan did just fine as a transformation in Budokai 2. I don't see the problem.

I can see Ultimate Gohan as a transformation...just one that you can't change back from. Then, when you trigger it, a small cutscene shows Grand Kai dancing around you giving you the power-up. Heck, maybe throw in a short buttons mini-game where the opposing character can try to interrupt it.

Spike don't usually go that in-detail, the mini-games and button mashing segments are usually left to Dimps (though there have been beam clashes and those weird 'disappear/re-appear' moments in story segments lately).

People always talk about the saiyans. I would love to see something new with Tien. Out of everybody in the series he probably had the most fighting techniques. Later in DBZ, most of his moves were stolen by the main characters. I sometimes miss the old dragon ball days where it was about technique and not about who's hair is longer and blonder.

The problem I have with Ultimate Gohan being a transformation, was that it is Final. Theres no going back to base form or even the NEED for super saiyan and super saiyan 2. Once you've powered up and you have that power all the time, why would you want to get weaker? Especially now since we get to CHOOSE our moves.

Nah, it just talks about how SS3 is a form two stages higher than regular Super Saiyan, and how SS3 Vegeta and Broli are characters original to the game. The rest of the page talks about the "Raging Soul" system and character customization.

Or, make Taiyouken be useful in the games. In the first Sparking! / Tenkaichi, during the fight with Oozaru Vegeta, the Taiyouken was useless, despite being what Goku used to escape him in the anime.

Heck, the "explosive wave" and later Tapion's flute... thing... were more effective at what Taiyouken and Psychoparalysis were supposed to do.

Freeza and Cell seem to get along fine by doing exactly what you're describing.

And all Spike needs to do is make it impossible to equip the SSJ transformations and the Mystic power up at the same time. If they let you have multiple custom sets as well, then you would be able to have Adult Gohan and Ultimate Gohan in the same character, yet acting as two different ones. All you need to do is build them.

But I'm probably assuming too much of Spike's creativity.

And fuck yes, I loves me some demos.
