Thanks, the acting and voice choices seem pretty decent. Though I don't speak the language so I'm not sure about dialogue accuracy.

The dub for the movies is different than for the TV show. Both are pretty good but I like the TV dub better. Best European DB dub by far. Especially Goku is awesome.

No, in these two clips from Movie 13 there is the TV dub.
There are two Italian dub. The first was made by
Merak Film and it was aired by the Italian channel Mediaset
Italia Uno. Personally I love it and the actors' voices. This can be considered the VERY official Italian dub. Anyhow, it differs a bit from the original and especially the firts series,
Dragon Ball, was censured and some ''erotic'' scenes' dialogues were re-adapted for a younger audience. The characters and attacks' names were mostly changed, for example:
Piccolo was changed in
Junior,
Yamcha in
Iamko,
Tenshinhan in
Tensing and the
Kamehameha was translated in
''Onda Energeticaaaa!'' (I think it can be translated in English
''Energetic Wave'')
The second dub was made by
Dynamic Italia or
Dynit and this features only the all Dragon Ball movies. It's closer to the original version and keeps original names, attacks and openings.

Piccolo's name.
Piccolo in Italian mean tiny, it would be pretty funny if his name was
Tiny for this big green guy (no pun intended). For
Yamcha I've seen it spelled
Yamco, but I guess
Iamko makes sense cause there is no Y in the Italian language. Also, having an "a" at the end of a word usually means it's feminine, so I guess they had to get rid of that.

Yeah, you're perfectly right. For us Italians would sound a little bad call one of the strongest and most important characters of the series

Well, Toriyama says he named Piccolo that in the first place because it's not a very "evil bad guy'-sounding name. Kame-sennin even comments in the story about he's a terrifying guy with a cute name.

That's from when Gohan is day dreaming about his father coming home from wherever he went after Namek exploded. I guess it was the only thing keeping him sane between getting mercilessly beaten by his tutor and having a Dragon for a best friend.

That doesn't look like GT at all. It looks like (and is) Last House after the Frieza arc, where their artwork started going downhill (still looks decent here, but the shading looks pretty flat, which one of many problems with the art later on). If it was GT Last House, it would look atrocious.

An interesting thing I was told about the Italian dub is that they called Kaiōshin, Neptune (or "Nettuno" in Italian). I guess no one sent them the memo. It's "
World King God", not "Sea King God".
