Mine comes from a game only I enjoyed! I admit it's pretty tough and not super good but it was the first one I ever played so...rose tinted goggles.

Re: How did you decide/get your avatar?
As I'm to be losing internet access shortly, for an indefinite span of time, I have changed to the all powerful Santa Buu in preparation for Christmas!
Might set up a Signavatar rotation later with Santa Buu and a few other of my Christmas-themed avatars.
Edit: And I did. Christmas avatars and two non-Christmas ones are now on rotation.

Going to use one of my favorite avatars again that I've used on these forums in the past. I was going to use another Gohan-related avatar, but it could have been interpreted as an innuendo, so I decided not to use it.

Hahaha, I love that avatar. Gohan's got this "Was that post supposed to be serious?" look to him in that. It's awesome. I felt like changing my avatar to Fortuneteller Baba in the spirit of Halloween.

This new one of the guy smiling so shifty is from "History of the Batsu Game". The guy's name is Matsumoto, and he's from the show Gaki no Tsukai. The show has been going on in Japan since 1989 and still going strong. If you have ever seen the video of the Japanese people laughing at the guy on TV trying to speak English, that's the show.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

It's a picture of Toriyama with Goku when he won an award for Dragon Ball (or at least it looks like it....) and also a picture of Goku, Luffy, and others while celebrating the 40th anniversary of Weekly Jump.

Re: How did you decide/get your avatar?
Yeah, he's not winning any sort of award, and Luffy from One Piece most certainly is not on the cover. This is from the cover of the 1993 Weekly Jump issue #05/06; One Piece didn't premiere in Weekly Jump until 1997! The cover just shows all of the manga artists that were being syndicated in Weekly Jump at the time along with a picture of the main character from their respective mangas. Oh, and for the record, the 40th anniversary of Weekly Jump was in 2008. That's why we got the JSAT special that year, it was part of the 40th anniversary celebration. This cover, I believe, was for the 25th anniversary, if anything.Goku100xKamehameha wrote:It's a picture of Toriyama with Goku when he won an award for Dragon Ball (or at least it looks like it....) and also a picture of Goku, Luffy, and others while celebrating the 40th anniversary of Weekly Jump.

Ah, you have a rotating avatar. Got ya... my bad. Carry on.
Re: How did you decide/get your avatar?
Mine's pretty simple, it's the symbol of the Green Lantern Corps. I'm a fan of the comics, and am on a Green Lantern related podcast, so I thought it worked. Considered changing it to one of the other Lantern Corps eventually, but figured less people would get it.

And as for your Piccolo, Daimao, lol. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to use it in such a means.
