I think he's trying to say that DBZ with the DBox remaster was never aired on T.V.

I know how everyone hates the remastered sets, but honestly I can't watch DBZ (the way I remember it when I watched it on Toonami, and honestly thats the only way I want to as of now) without the Dub and Music. Now I know I'll get shot for that but, I can't stand the original Japanese Music. I Love Kai's new music, but thats because to me it sounds a million times better. I have no clue why I have such a hatred for the old music, even though I love Japanese anime/tv/movie music/scores 99% of the time ever since I was a little kid.

So the only way I watch it nowadays it through the Orange Bricks... or DB Kai. Maybe in 10 years or so I'll pick up some Dragon Box's or whatever the next re-re-release it. :o
Well, just so you know ('cause it sounded like you didn't from the way you worded it), the Dragon Box Z sets do have the English dub, though without Faulconer Production's score.

But you say you want to watch it the way you saw it on Toonami... The "season" sets do NOT contain the version of the show you saw on TV. For that version (sans broadcast edits), you'd have to buy the DVD singles, because the "season" sets have altered lines, altered music (I think), and even voice actor replacements.

Buy all the remastered sets, wait for the boxset for season 1 of DBZK, and then buy the dragonboxes.
