I don't think it is because while it may be on a DVD. It is unreleased on CD, so it's up to you to decide, but I'd say it's fine.
Unfortunately, that's not how copyright works. Just because it hasn't been formally released doesn't mean it's in the public domain.
However... DaizEX usually has a fairly lax policy about unreleased music (like most of GT's BGM).

And whenever I can I'll be doing Dragon Ball's unreleased BGM whenever I get the time. TripleRach is a mod, so listen to what she says not a "mistaught about copyright" member like me.

I am facepalming so hard right now.
Didn't they said that they'd fix it for the home release?

They're saving those corrections for the complete boxset, complete with a new voice for Kaio (wishful thinking)!

Chris Sabat said on his facebook that they would try, but at the speed they were dubbing new material, I'm thinking they couldn't afford to fall behind by going back to fix mistakes. Besides, as much as I facepalmed when I heard it, it really pales in comparison to the great acting and otherwise dead-on scripts. Especially on the uncut home release.
And the new Dragon Soul is not growing on me at all... in fact it's getting worse.

Still not sure if it's Sean, Vic or someone new? I'm interested if it's the first version Vic recorded, where he claimed he sang close to the Japanese singer.

Is the TV Broadcast Version they put on the DVD the same length as on Nicktoons? Or is it the normal 1 minute, 30 second Unedited length?

What was this screw-up? Just the idea that Dende would have both brothers and sisters when Namekians are asexual, or something else?

If I'm remembering correctly Dende explains that Namekians don't have genders, then within the next thirty seconds refers to its siblings as its brothers and sisters.

Hey, just because they're all built like males doesn't mean some of them don't identify as female!

Wait, there's a new Dragon Soul?
I did see the image Tanooki spread on Twitter of the "Extras" menu screen from the DVD, and it had "English opening version 2", but that's it.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!
Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

See, on the issue of the new Dragon Soul, I'm hold reserved judgment.
Sorry

Since Tanooki posted the opening on YouTube. ohmynameiserik, wasn't exaggerating at all. It was extremely lackluster. Compared to both Vic's and Sean's versions.

I was gonna take "terrible" with a grain of salt since you guys tend to be a little more negative...but Jesus Christ

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Wow, if this isn't [possible] producer interference, I don't know what is.
Can Part Three have Chris Sabat performing all of the high notes as low notes?
That might actually be pretty awesome...

I'm mixed on this third version of Dragon Soul, but I think it might be Justin Cook singing. But really, FUNi, you can't be consistent, can you?
