Buy/Sell/Trade forum?
Buy/Sell/Trade forum?
I think this would be a good section to have as Dragonball merchandise is very few and far between, I think a 'feedback' forum to go along with it would be useful.
This forum is a good example of how it should be done: [link]

Re: Buy/Sell/Trade forum?
We've had requests and offers before, and they're usually posted under DragonBall-General. This has actually been brought up before, but there just doesn't seem to be enough interest in such a specific forum. We don't get that many threads about it.

I think it would be a good idea. While I certainly don't participate in them it would certainly clean up the General Discussion a bit and allow for a concise "Check this forum section" when telling somebody where they can do such-and-such.

Re: Buy/Sell/Trade forum?
I lean against it due to:
(1) As noted, we just don't get all that much in the way of people doing this sort of thing. When someone DOES, it may seem like it's often... but it just isn't.
(2) Breaking it out into its own thing gives us some sort of accountability for what goes on with it, as if we encourage it and act as a central location for it -- even if we make it clear that it's member-to-member, breaking it out into its own thing just gives it too much of an associated branding with us. Not really interesting in heading down that route.

Re: Buy/Sell/Trade forum?
Maybe a sticky thread like "DB stuff for sale" in General Discusion (like the all-encompassing power levels thread) would be something worth thinking about? People could just advertise what they have and post eBay links and the like in one central location. I mean, if we still have a sticky for a six-year-old one-shot parody...
New to the forum? Just want to know when you'll hit your next posting rank? Ever wondered why some users have special titles, and what they mean? The answers to all these questions and more are waiting for you in the Kanzenshuu Member Hierarchy Guide!!

I like the way it's being done now: if someone has something to sell/trade they can make their own thread, so when that sale is done the thread can die off. If we have just one thread for every sale it'll get confusing quickly. The Tori-bot wrote:Maybe a sticky thread like "DB stuff for sale" in General Discusion (like the all-encompassing power levels thread) would be something worth thinking about? Ah, that makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't want y'guys to become inadvertantly caught up in a sticky situation only made worse by basically advertising the allowed buying, selling, and trading.VegettoEX wrote:I lean against it due to:
