Obscure DB rumours

Does anyone have any obscure Dragon Ball rumours that's unheard of? I don't mean the common ones like "Goku died on Namek" and "Janemba was the one who trapped Kaiôshin in the Z-Sword", ones that not many people would've known of.

I heard someone claim once that Toriyama wrote the Evil Dragon story arc in GT, and designed the dragons for it. I don't think that one's too widespread (at least I hope it isn't).

OK...let me rephrase. Not the typical ones that everyone's heard of...you know what I mean. Like, the 12,000,000 and 15,000,000 mistranslations. Just obscure ones that you've heard some people throw about.

Back in fifth grade (1999), I was told that Piccolo had a son (turns out, no, that's just Dende); Bulma's stupid for acting like she didn't know Gokuh had a son, 'cause she should've remembered the time she used to baby sit him (turns out, no, they obviously hadn't actually watched DB); Gohan gets kidnapped by a group of Saiyans and they make him evil (What!?).

Also, my friend told me he first thought Freeza was Gokuh's wife. Lol.

I heard that Kaio and Bubbles are referenced in Toriyama's children's book/manga called "Toccio The Angel." The rumor is that Toccio gets caught being lazy all the time by having claimed that his pet monkey angel was Bubbles, whom Kaio had asked to be babysat. The Big Boss (the head angel) finds out it's a lie because Kaio and Bubble now live in Heaven.

No idea if it's true or not, but I doubt it is.

I also remember hearing pretty often that reason Bardock is so strong is because his father was King Vegeta's father. IE: Bardock's a fitzroy.

The whole "catch Bubbles" thing was an homage to Rocky II's catch the chicken scene.

Broli was actually Vegeta's younger half brother, which is why Paragus sought vengeance on him in the movie (avenge the affair and eliminate the rightful Saiyan heir so Broli could take the title).

Isn't that sort of like what happens in the second Super Goku Den if you lose to Raditz? I've never seen that outcome myself, but I remember reading about that in a walkthrough.

When I was in the 5th grade they where rumors about Dragon Ball GT, and that villains such as Broly, and Lord Slug would come back to life. And that Piccolo got marry with a female namke later on in the series.

Yeah, it is basically just a rumor with no real evidence behind it, other than the general fact that Toriyama never intended the series to go on as long as it did. He mentions in one of the early tankoubon Q&As (around DB volume 5 I think) that he was thinking of the series running a total of 9 volumes (ie ending before the 22nd TB), and he suggested the name "DragonBall Z" because Z was the last letter in the alphabet and he was hoping to end things soon. So he actually didn't even originally intend things to get anywhere near as far as the Freeza stuff, really. All the rumors about Toriyama specifically wanting to end things with the Goku vs. Freeza fight, or wanting Goku and/or Freeza and/or Piccolo and/or pretty much the whole cast to die and stay dead aren't supported by anything Toriyama has ever said in an interview. Unfortunately these rumors are also some of the most widespread and commonly accepted bits of misinformation in the fandom, so they don't really meet the criteria for this thread.
