In GT he ties with Goku in his base form
Who is superior to his SSJ3 form in z.
he is weak as fuck for some odd reason
OMG HE'S SLIGHTLY WEAKER THAN VEGETA SSJ2! HE MUST BE WEAKER THAN KRILLIN! BURN IT WITH FIRE! yeah i think i made my point. Weak as fuck? Hardly. He IS stronger than absolutely anyone in Z except Super Vegetto and just behind Goku and Vegeta in GT.

Everytime he appeared, he got his ass handed back to him in about a minute or so, or did nothing. Weak as fuck? Yes. Should he be weak? No, he should be one of the strongest, if not the strongest character. It's pathetic watching him fight in GT. AND he fuses with Buu, which means he turns EVEN STRONGER and he gets his ass kicked EVEN FASTER. Tell me that's no weak as fuck and I'll laugh in your face. GT screwed Uub completely. Again, after fusing with Buu, he should be stronger than Gohan, in my opinion.

Wow, I never knew that. I just assumed Uub lived in the desert. I don't recall every seeing his village in manga or the anime.

The place of his village was stated to be on an island in the south.

Yep, I'm looking at it right here in the manga. "Oob is 10 years old and hails from a tropical island!" One of the guidebooks elaborated by pointing out that it's in the same general area as Kame House.

Everytime he appeared, he got his ass handed back to him in about a minute or so, or did nothing. Weak as fuck? Yes
and? Vegeta always got his ass handed to him and he's by no means weak. It's a matter of opponents being so much stronger than Uub is. Like I said, he's around SSJ Kid Goku/SSj2 Vegeta level.
Should he be weak? No, he should be one of the strongest, if not the strongest character.
He is one of the strongest like i said. Only Saiyans have way more potential and get stronger a lot quicker. Majuub will eventually max out. Goku and Vegeta won't.
It's pathetic watching him fight in GT
Boo god damn hoo. EVERYONE fails in GT. The villains are just that strong that only SSJ4s can keep up.
Tell me that's no weak as fuck
You're mistaking weak for outmatched. Match the strongest person in Z vs Baby Vegeta and tell me who is the weak one.
Again, after fusing with Buu, he should be stronger than Gohan, in my opinion.
He kinda well is? He did better vs Baby than anyone before SSj4 Goku appeared.

So is that it? You don't like him because he doesn't really do well vs main villains? That's pathetic.

You're pathetic. You're so fucking pathetic that you're treating a fictional character like a love or hate thing. I like Uub, I never said I didn't like him. You just like to distort what everyone says because it doesn't fit your perfect vision of Uub.

Don't fucking compare him to Vegeta. Vegeta destroyed everyone on his début, Goku was completely outclassed and they only won by a series of sheer luck events, plus he destroyed Cui, Dodoria, Zarbon, Gurd, Jeice and hold his ground against Freeza until he powered up.

He completely destroyed #19 and second form Cell was outmatched against him.

He vaporized Pui Pui in seconds and he managed to hold his ground against fucking pure Buu.

And don't even get me started on the movies.

Seriously, what did Uub ever did that was worth mentioning? Baby Vegeta is not even supposed to be THAT strong. Uub should be able to hold against him and Majuub should be able to at least hurt him; he did fuck all!

Seriously, I love Uub, but the fact that they totally fucked the character and that he never did anything worth mentioning at all annoys the shit out of me. There was no point in him becoming Majuub since he just got his ass kicked again. That's not how a fucking power up is supposed to work.

Especially that his history had a potential to be a great story about becoming powerful- at the end of DBZ he is told to have power but his actions are random and uncontrolled. Showing him being trained and discovering new powers could be really more interesting than all GT stuff.

IN later GT Uub seems to be shown because someday someone responsible for screenplay suddenly remembered that "Oh, we have another super guy on store. Give him any action or some annoying fans start to write letters where he is". So he was shown and thrown into huge bin with massive cover and notice "wasted potential" where he rests with many other ideas.

Don't fucking compare him to Vegeta
I can and am. Vegeta already got way more screen time so its obviously unfair to think "oh Uub's so useless". He's not a main character. Vegeta got way more time to show what hes made of. And it's not like Uub epic failed against low levels like Vegeta did. Uub one shotted Rildo.
Seriously, what did Uub ever did that was worth mentioning
Oh gee. Pretty much solo'ing all of hell including Rildo, saving Gohan. Was the reason they were able to defeat baby Vegeta. Wasn't all that strong? Compared to what? Omega shenron and Super 17? Baby Vegeta makes all of the Z villains look like little children.
Uub should be able to hold against him and Majuub should be able to at least hurt him
Oh of course. Uub should have held his own because you say so! Btw he DID hold his own. He even outsmarted him by letting himself be eaten.
Seriously, I love Uub
Could have fooled me. You cant even admit to the things he did do.
That's not how a fucking power up is supposed to work.
SSJ3, USSJ, Super Namek with Nail, Gotenks etc. Many powerups failed. Once again your blinded by hatred and can't see the things Uub did do.

Do you really think you would enjoy a mere human replacing the Saiyans as the hero? If Goku was the one fading into the background there would be even more hate mail. "Omg hes the main character and he doesnt even do anything boo hiss bitch complain!". There is no winning with DBZ fans.

Most of those power ups, for the record, weren't a waste.

SSJ3 was on par with Buu, in fact, when Goku first introduced it, he had Fat Buu completely outclassed. He was simply buying time, and the transformation completely used up the remaining life energy he had that was suppose to last him for a whole day.

USSJ wasn't a waste, wasn't that essentially what Super Vegeta was? He just didn't fully execute it to make himself too bulky, and that outclassed second form cell. Trunks also utilized it to wipe out the androids and cell in his future.

The Piccolo and Nail fusion was absolutely useful. It put him ahead of second form Freeza. Nobody knew that Freeza had two more transformations ahead of that. As far as they were concerned, Piccolo was going to win that fight. It wasn't useless, if anything it bought enough time for Goku's recovery and saved everyone else from death.

Gotenks was far from a failure. He was simply a child, but he was SSJ3 and had Super Buu beat, but couldn't finish the job because the fusion ran out. Again, another instance of SSJ3 being an energy hog, however, I'm still convinced he was on par with Mystic Gohan.

To be fair, Vegeta did more in the Freeza arc alone than Uub did in his entire (shown) existence.

I've always had mixed feelings about Uubu. On the one hand, he was such wasted material by being introduced as The Successor at the utter end of the series...which feels very Dragonball, I suppose, leaving it up to us to imagine where things would go from there, but nonetheless irritating. I think he could have been an interesting little addition to the next generation of heroes if (as I've always dreamed) Gokou and co. would just fuckin' retire already...Goten, Trunks, Uubu, and maybe Pan and Bra become the 'comic relief li'l kids who tag along, can't do much, but may come in useful in a pinch' characters that Goten and Trunks were in the Buu arc. That's something I really always wanted to see, with Piccolo behind them all somehow in the mentor position he really cemented himself into during the Buu arc.

On the other hand, Uubu is one of those reasons that makes me hate Gokou. I know, I know, Gokou's the type of character you can never truly hate, but when I hate to stop and think of the characters in the series with the highest accumulation of dick moves, Gokou's usually up at the top for me (yes, beyond Vegeta, because Gokou didn't spend half of the series being evil). I mean come on. He finally reunited with his son during his one day back to life, and then that fortunately ended up as him being able to continue living and grow up together with the boy. Goten rightly should have been given the position as The Successor as Gohan had earlier, but no, some random kid Gokou just met gets it instead...and he bails on his family for it, for who knows how long. If I were Goten, I'd be pissed. It just doesn't seem remotely fair. All his other friends dismiss it as 'lol that's Gokou for you', which is obviously Toriyama-Sensei's logic in the situation as well, but it just bugs me. Goten wasn't around long enough to where he should accept that so easily. Goten and Trunks would have made the perfect next generation of heroes, and that was utterly cast aside and wasted. Hell, if Toei had plans to continue the series anyways and call it 'GT', how perfect would it have been if they ruled Gokou out (like the series had been trying to do forever...), accepted Goten and Trunks as the new heroes, along with little Pan, maybe Bra (I could take or leave her), and then if they wanted to have a more mature Uubu come back and say 'hey, Gokou trained me up good, now let me join your group' while keeping Gokou out of the picture...then relegating Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo and the others to 'background characters' in the same way Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Kuririn and etc became in Z...that just would have felt like a more natural and logical progression to me.

So yeah, I'm not sure how to feel about Uubu. I don't love him, I don't hate him. His existence just causes a lot of confusion and frustration because the whole thing was so rushed and planned absolutely terribly. Had things been altered slightly...he could have turned out to be a pretty cool guy.

I never understood the logic behind Uub being "The Successor." Gohan had Goku completely outclassed by the end of the series, and Goku seemed to be shaping little Pan up to take up the reins once Gohan were to retire. Then, BAM, oh look there's Kid Buu's reincarnation, someone who was able to match Goku at Super Saiyan 3 10 years ago only because his regeneration ability which is something Uub doesn't have with his human body.

Uub also has the thing Goku didn't have as a kid; a family. So he's not going to be as focused and obsessed with training like Goku was as a kid, because that's all Goku had. If anything, Uub is going to be another Gohan.

I don't have anything against the character, I just don't see what's so great about him.

That bugs me too. It completely disregards the growth Goku got in the Cell saga (assuming Viz is correct in their translation) where he told Gohan to apologize to Chi Chi for always doing things his way without thinking about her.
