As nice as that would be considering the DLC from RB was such a disappointment I wouldn't put my hopes up if I were you for the sequel. Also do any of you think the DLC from RB will carry over to RB2 if you downloaded it?

Really nice, I wish they went with a different Avatar for 13 on the character select screen though. That pose is so over done plus Zanto had a video of a picture with him and his picture was him flying up, it was really cool.

Is it just me or are the graphics beginning to look more and more like they just belong with DBZ?

Yeah, I was really indifferent towards them at first, I didn't really know what to think and I kinda wished they stayed with Raging Blast's graphics, my tune has changed now and I love the graphics

They are just totally shiny and very high in contrast. RB1 was very pale but looked more like the anime in my view. They look like plasticine in RB2.

Could someone give me an explanation of Galaxy Mode? I've read a few things about it, but nothing really straight-forward about the mode, other than it being the replacement of story mode and having random battles with some story mixed-in. Sorry if this has been thoroughly explained already, as I haven't been keeping up with this game as much as I would like.

I dont have any hate towards Dimps or the "Budokai" style of gameplay but I always blame Raging Blast's undersales on Burst Limit.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

It's essentially an arcade mode, you select a character and play through a series of battles with them, some are fantasy what-if battles and the others are storyline. There's no story mode, as you said but this is a very good replacement in my eyes.

Thanks, Jaruka.

Sounds more interesting than Story Mode, that's for sure.

A good replacement?
They could have made an epic storymode in the lines of NUNS2. With QTE. The amazing graphics of RB2 would allow this perfectly. Another reason I can't stand their decisions.

Sorry man but your opinion is soon becoming invalid, you pretty much just post hating on every move Spike makes. We've seen the story around 11 times now just on current gen consoles and PS2. There's a lot more if you count the DS and GBA games along with the Playstation games too. I don't want to play the story any more, it's boring as Hell and I know the story better than the game does. It's great to see something fresh.

I beg to differ. I don't hate everything Spike does. There are just certain things that are important for me (implying a good storymode) and Spike can't seem to grasp or finalize a good mode for it. Galaxy Mode sounds fresh indeed and I will make up my opinion when I play through it. I will buy the game anyways because I love Dragonball and the gameplay is awesome. In addition the graphics are also great. These points prove they can do it better.
I played NUNS2 yesterday and it blew me away. The QTEs are beyond amazing. If I can think of the fact how good such a storymode would go along with Dragonball in HD graphics, then a whole competent producer team can, too.

We'll see. And no one's opinion is invalid. Just let me express myself. Thank you.

Story mode is best done in the anime so if you want a good story I say before each fight that isn't a what-if, watch the scene from show then play the game. I am okay with no story mode I mean this is a fighting game and most fighting games don't have real stories other than a cut scene near the beginning and end with fights.

How do people recover?

I can never do it instantly, no matter what button combination I put in.

As much as I'd like to think so, It's not like Burst Limit was the best selling Dragonball game of all time. Burst Limit just looked better and entered in a time where people were getting sick of DB games but not sick enough to check out one on the "next gen" system(though now they would just be current gen).

Blame the under sales on the fact that Raging Blast was really broken. This game looks like it's going in a better direction, but when you think back to BT3, did they really change much? I'm liking this game WAY MORE than the first RB but for some reason I'm not totally sold. Maybe it's because there are better games out there now a days or maybe it's just because I'm bored of Dragonball games, in any case I just feel a sort of "meh" feeling. I think most people share my same opinion.
