It would be the complete opposite from the Funimation dub

People like Penguintruth would be saying "it's pretty good", but people like me would be saying "it's complete crap, avoid it"

I wouldn't take it seriously, it's an abridged serious for god sake. I can't take masakox seriously it doesn't sound right to me at all. But it's sure as funny.

I think MasokoX would be a great Gokuh, though most of the other characters sound ridiculous to be funny, and are just impersonations of the FUNi cast. LittleKuribo's Freeza would be acceptable as well.

Well, honestly, we've casted in the past for an actual dub if we ever wanted to and I can assure you... most of the roles would be switched out.

I mean, general consensus actually put me with Kuririn, Lani wouldn't be Vegeta... It would be cast from the ground up, to match something closer to the original.

Also, I can assure you that if we did do a dub, I'd be directing Masako very differently and being stricter about his slurring, delivery, and annunciation.

I think Masako could pull off SERIOUS! Goku... I'm more concerned about how his Gohan would translate into a serious dub. (Bleah, I wanna be able to do a voice like that as well as he does. ).

Something like a collection of clips from more serious moments done, well, seriously, would be amazingly cool to watch. :D

I agree with the others, you guys really should try it out. I'm actually very interested in seeing how your guys' 'seriously casted' cast would sound. O.o

Also agreed. I'd really like to watch and listen to what you would come up with for an actual dub. I would so love to hear what a Horikawa-like Vegeta would sound like in English.

Didn't someone in this forum burn the first season onto a DVD with a case and everything? Totally not legal to sell or anything I'm sure but I would SO buy it if it was licensed.

That would be me, it's just too bad they're unable to do their own official version.

Masako-kun, that link doesn't work... :<

I just get a "Not Found" page. And when I go to http://www.kh2.co.uk/, it brings me to a page that says "This page is used to test the proper operation of the Apache HTTP server after it has been installed. If you can read this page it means that the Apache HTTP server installed at this site is working properly."

It opened a page with a flash video in it for me... but the video was blank and didn't do anything. Or at least, it didn't start playing and there weren't any buttons that I could find.

OK, now THIS link should work. Apparently, the guy who originally mixed it re-uploaded it. Sorry about the confusion there, guys. ^^;

Yeah, funny thing about that....

At this rate, you might as well upload it to your Blip.tv account. I'm really looking forward to seeing this dub that you did! :(

EDIT: Nevermind! I got it working! That was really well done! If you end up incorporating that into DBZ Abridged, I will freaking love you guys forever! No homo.

That... was pretty damn awesome.

You were pretty good. Kaiô was definitely way better than the FUNi one. Freeza and Piccolo's voices was a bit meh, though.

Goku and Gohan were excellent. Piccolo was okay. I didn't like Kuririn, Freeza, Yamucha, or Tenshinhan.

Kaio needed to be a little deeper.

Sorry, but that was mediocre across the board. DBZ abridged, while being a parody, is way more professionally acted in comparison. Maybe it was bad direction combined with the poor mixing that made the weak points stand out more.
