No, by the time Piccolo Jr. unleashed his island busting attack, everyone had escaped on a ferry, so nobody was actually killed during that attack(with the exception of unseen insects of course)

Well, of course. English Goku is the perfect superhero do-gooder who spared Vegeta's life in hope that he'd see the light and become good, and was an "ally to good, nightmare to [Freeza]!" Of course he'd only bargain with elder Kaioshin to let him kiss Bulma.
Japanese Goku is the selfish, retarded martial artist who spared Vegea's life because he wanted to fight him again and was the Saiyan from Earth that came to destroy Freeza and avenge his race. Of course he'd only bargain with elder Kaioshin to let him feel Bulma's breasts.
