Not bad. Though I wish it was just Frieza on the cover. Kinda makes the previous releases inconsistent with this one, the first 3 just had one character on the cover.

Does it really matter if there's one character or two?
It continues to be the same as the previous Kai packaging, with a clean design and good looking, newly commissioned art that's relevant to the episodes it contains. Good art, thin packs, and a consistent design that isn't neon orange, blue or green. Pick your battles.

Freeza looks a little awkward, but that's only because the artist didn't want to draw just the back of his head. I like the idea of both him and Goku on the cover. I think it looks great.

I'm going to reiterate what I said on
Twitter, I think the cover is absolutely horrible. There's just so much wrong with it; specifically Freeza. Even Goku isn't that good. It's just... bad. It's SO bad! It looks so awkward. Freeza's foot, and head. The shading on his legs, Goku's head, and arms. His right fist looks like a block. FUNimation should ask for their money back... But, it's not like I'm gonna buy it, so... yeah. Whatever. Nevertheless, I think it looks like shit, but that's just me.

Oh, SNAP!!
Man, sounds like this cover ruined your night. I, however, am stoked that we've got both characters who could have appeared on this cover. I'm not going to be terribly upset if the cover doesn't look absolutely Toriyama perfect. I like what's on it.

Yeah I agree on the cover being an interesting concept, but the white backround and shitty design are not helping me like this cover in the slightest, they really should start hiring people to do the art that can do it correctly.

So what does it look like? I'm getting a "image has been moved or deleted" sign.

The more I look at this cover the more I begin to dislike it. Freeza's head just looks funny and his foot looks like someone broke it by twisting it backwards.

Ok. It's all right to me and at least is accurate a bit. Remember my dad buying an FF video with all four members including the Human Torch, and it turning out to be an episode of the 70s one that didn't have the Human Torch. The box also called Sue Invisible Woman, but the ep called her Invisible Girl.

It looks pretty good to me. There are some proportion problems (Freeza's shoulders!!!!), but it's quite serviceable just like all the other Kai covers, and let's be honest: anything's better than the covers for the Z singles and Z Season Sets. Ick...
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

It looks great! The second and third cover were kind of awkward but this one is pretty awesome.

Looks like he's twisting his upper half to put more momentum behind the fourthcoming punch. It doesn't look weird to me. I'm usually one of the first to point out how awkward FUNi's artwork looks.
But I really believe in this cover.
EDIT: Woah! Where did Tanooki Koriboh's post go? I was replying to his edit to the cover.

I've been of the mind that all the Kai artwork has looked pretty damned terrible, and while those same basic elements are true of this picture as well, I prefer it to any of the others because at least something interesting is happening, and that's almost enough to distract one from the terrible art style, unlike the "Vegeta feels like squatting" cover of volume 2. So it's still crap, but it's slightly less crap than the others. But, like Hujio said, I'm not buying it, so I really don't care all that much to begin with.
