That's right! This could be great!
Re: "Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butōden" Discussion
You guys should check the official website and click on one of the characters (can't remember which one) and then they'll show you the 40 character slots. A lot of them are empty so far but check out the ones that are up. You'll get to see a little footage of the gameplay of each character.

Re: "Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butōden" Discussion
Just bumping to ask if anyone else is going to be picking up the Japanese release next month. Unless we hear about a North American release within the next couple weeks (and for some time frame relatively soon), this'll be an import for me. Curious as to who else I'll have playing along side me, or if the FAQ/Help thread will just be me talking to myself

I might even import this if there is no North American announcement soon. Just keep the Japanese audio like they did for AOTS. It'd be quicker.

I'm willing to bet there will be a North American release but if there isn't, how much is shipping(I've never imported from Japan)VegettoEX wrote:Just bumping to ask if anyone else is going to be picking up the Japanese release next month. So Gogeta is alone without Janemba once again huh? And it looks like you can't transform neither.

They were shown in either the commercials or the numerous gameplay videos on the official site.

Online play just doesn't replicate the fun of having your opponent right there with you, complete with trash talk. And with the DS, you don't even have splitscreen.Hellspawn28 wrote:Anyone else let down that their is no online gameplay?

Yea but, at least as far as DS' go, it's hard to find people that have the same game as me. It would be nice to have some online play just to get more replayability out of the game. I know Nintendo's online systems are terrible but something is better than nothing. Plus, I could have played with you guys.metamoss wrote:Online play just doesn't replicate the fun of having your opponent right there with you, complete with trash talk. Nintendo Wifi sucks because there's too much stuff on the servers. They could go like Activision with the Wii versions of Call of Duty and use their own servers. It works real well.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Yea but, at least as far as DS' go, it's hard to find people that have the same game as me.
