Why do Super Saiyans have blonde hair and bluish-green eyes?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

We know it's unintentional. Toriyama's said several times that he made the Super Saiyans' hair that way because it was easier than having to black all the hair in like before. Sure, maybe he's repeatedly lied and the real reason was because The Man told him to, but come on, you have to use Occam's Razor here.
there's the reason that's given, and then there's the real reason. who knows, in this situation...

So... Toriyama, knowing that since he was Japanese, 20 years in the future a larger amount of black-skinned citizens of foreign country x would be likely to watch a cartoon adaption of his work than white-skinned citizen of the same country, deliberately inserted vague hints of nazi ideologies for the sole purpose to fuck with this specific group of future-men?
No, remember FreezaSama was very clear that that line from the original article did not matter. Stop using logic people, it's giving you an unfair advantage over FreezaSama.

it ain't just about black-skinned people. it's about his own people, too. did you read the article? it mentions Japanese kids being affected.
But the article provides no evidence to back up that accusation.
Even if this article was correct in its points, I just can't take it seriously when it shows no actual research or anything to validate its statements.
Honestly, I think whoever wrote this was looking way too deeply into something fairly innocent.

Do you mean conspiracys in general or a specific Dragon Ball conspiracy?

FreezaSama, do whatever you want with your conspiracy theories about Toriyama being racist or whatever the hell this is about. But for the love of Dende, fix your grammar and spelling, as you've already been asked to do once by the forum's head honcho.

Goku's Super Saiyan 3 transformation looks similar to a Lion's mane. Might be some English/Animal supremacy being hidden in there subliminally!!!
Uub came way after the first appearance of Goku's super saiyan transformation... way after any damage (intentional or unintentional) had been done on the minds of children.

you don't think stuff like this can affect people? read the autobiography of Malcolm X, where he writes about how he was taught to hate himself.

All i'm doing is trying to get other people's opinions... not accusing Akira Toriyama of anything.
You have to understand that Toriyama drew the series intending it to be for Japanese children. It's not like when Goku powered up into Super Saiyan he transformed from being Chinese or Korean and then suddenly gained a Japanese nationalist appearance which would have brought up all the horrible things done in the name of Imperial Japan. They don't have the same history as the 'western' world does, so Goku looking Aryan, Mr. Popo and Black being racist are things that don't even come up at all. If you want to blame someone, blame Funimation for marketing the series towards American school children.

There are, but some people think it is just a coincidence. Some people do not want to believe that they were put there by the Freezas of the world.

FreezaSama, I am already completely fed up, here.

You will abandon your nonsensical, conspiracy-theorist agenda-pushing immediately, and if English is your first language (which you have not confirmed for us), you will also immediately begin posting properly (as you agreed to prior to registration -- drop the sarcastic bullshit in response to moderators asking you to clean up your act).

A temporary ban will be put in place if you can not follow the rules that everyone else follows in a friendly and conversational way.

So now Toriyama is at the center of an international, subliminal Nazi conspiracy that has stretched on for over 25 years? Thank you so much FreezaSama for opening our eyes. If I had kept watching this evil show any longer, I may have ended up tattooing a swastika onto my forehead!
